Now they're saying he's willing to take a non-fully guaranteed contract elsewhere.
No team will trade or sign Lamar for what he wants :smh:

His best chance was to play well last season and force their hand... Unfortunately he got hurt and that opened the door for wypipol media to label him a quitter.

Fucked up and him trying to represent himself really backfired against him.

He really needs an agent. Him trying to negotiate on his own really fucked him up.

These 2 points right here ^^^
NFL teams do NOT want to give Lamar a fully guaranteed contract
Because it would set a standard/precedent for ALL quarterbacks going forward
Teams were like "let the Browns do that dumb shit, but we damn sure wont"
Lamar's price was too high

I hope hope the dolphins can find away…..bring him home

thats the narrative they want us to be believe. Lamar doesn’t want to negotiate, he has a value in mind and that’s that in his mind. An agent would have probably have him sign a not fully guaranteed contract by now but that’s not what he wants with the ravens is what I’m reading into this.

As long as the Ravens are fucked I'm good.

I Get Where You're Coming From...But All That Is Going Out the Window When Sheisty Contract Come Due....300 Million....Fully Guaranteed....Mark It Down....Joe Will be Gettin ALL His Coins :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Lamar should have hired an agent. The Browns giving a fully guaranteed contract was dumb shit and although I'm for players getting as much as they can, I laugh at it possibly putting an entire franchise at financial strain to sign additional free agents to help a team due to a fully guaranteed deal.

What do you think the reasons are for not hiring an agent? Roquan was the same way, but he did all types of weird ish trying to "negotiate" with the Bears..

I can see them thinking it's an unnecessary percentage to pay that you could otherwise keep (especially if you already have someone else handling endorsements, etc.). But to me you really need that expertise for pro contract negotiations and advice on best practices towards reaching a deal. If anything, the agent's contacts and history are invaluable, no matter how slimy that business seems.

I really don't know. Cats probably outsmart themselves trying to do it all instead of hiring an expert to do it for them.

Imagine having to worry about reading defenses, learning an offensive playbook, running for your life, perfecting your passes, being the face of a franchise AND negotiating your contract? Fuck all that. Hire someone to do it.

Especially someone experienced with how to navigate the process.
