Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Keys to the Game:
The 49ers/Cowboys game can go either way, so like I said before

On offense, the 9ers strength is obviously the run game
We run on damn near everyone
So if a team has a middle of the road run defense, then the 9ers are just going to run...run...run...run all game long
That in turn limits Garoppolo's chances to turn the ball over, which means we generally win

On defense, the 9ers strength is their run defense
We have a pretty good front 7
I wouldn't say "the best" but its up there
We are usually pretty good at stopping the run
So I'm honestly not really worried about Zeke or Pollard
Our pass defense can be kind of, "meh"
But our D-line getting constant pressure, covers up for our weakness in the secondary

So it goes like this:
If the Cowboys jump out to an early lead in the 1st half, then they will probably keep that lead & win
But if the game is close by halftime, or the 9ers are winning
Then expect for them to grind the Cowboys down until they get tired, and sloppy, and tap out ;)

As long as the 9ers don't turn the ball over & allow Dallas to get quick & easy TD's.....we should win this :cool:

Playing in the elements keeps games and venues interesting. I can't imagine EVERY team and every game being played in a controlled environment.
It's just as much an intangible edge as crowd noise in some of these stadiums.

Having said that, I, myself wouldn't attend a game in person this time of year. Fuck that! I'm watching from the warmth and comfort of my Rec Room. :lol:
Man that's some shit my team never has to play in no cold weather....only when they gotta go to Lambeau which more times than not is in the playoffs. :lol: I seen the Bills and Pats play and this muthafucka Mac Jones had like 12 passing yards......i'll tell you what i'm not watching that bullshit this time. :lol:

I feel what you're saying
The 49ers secondary can definitely be exploited, especially with the weapons Dallas has

Just a quick note though,
The 9ers pass defense is not quite as bad as it looks on paper though
For most of the year our starting CB was injured & not playing
So we had to put old ass Josh Norman on the field
But now our starting CB (Emanuel Mosley) just came back
He picked off one of Stafford's passes, in the 3rd quarter
And also we have a rookie that just started the past few weeks that seems to be improving (Ambry Thomas)
He also picked off Stafford, in overtime
Aye....I get that.....all i'm saying is the way they say y'all run game has a edge on our run defense? The same can be said about our passing offense against y'all pass defense. There's a clear edge there. If Cowboys go up and control this game I think 9ers gonna have a hard time trying to keep up.

Cowboys have a more balanced offense.

San Fran only averages 2.8 yards more per game rushing than the Cowboys, and Cowboys pass game is much better. San Fran could not compete with anybody if they did not run misdirection/gimmick run schemes, because their qb is barely average.

The Eagles have a better rushing attack than San Fran, they played earlier, Eagles won a low scoring game, and the Cowboys swept the Eagles with no problem.

All the 49ers can do, is pray Dak can't hit wide open receivers or handle their pressure, and keep Pornstar Jimmy out of 3rd and longs.

All I've been hearing about is.....
Cowboys passing attack this, Cowboys passing attack that
But let's really look at the numbers.....

Cowboys WR's and TE:
1. CeeDee Lamb == 1102 yards
2. Amari Cooper == 865 yards
3. Cedrick Wilson == 602 yards
4. Dalton Schultz == 808 yards

49ers WR's and TE:
1. Deebo Samuel == 1405 yards + another 365 yards running
2. Brandon Aiyuk == 826 yards
3. Jauan Jennings == 282 yards
4. George Kittle == 910 yards

I'm really not impressed with the so called, potent high powered passing offense of the Cowboys
Cause the 49ers got weapons too bruh !!!

jesus fuck, i didn't know he was ballin' like that.

I think so too but it ain't the first time people said they was washed and fucked around and won a SB......Aaron big toe hurt.
I think that hurt toe situation is long gone, that boy foot has been stepped on a few times the past 2-3weeks and he ends up throwing a dime right afterwards... Only way the Bucs make it to the SB is if their D steps up and shows out like they did last year to carry the team from December to the SB...

Here is the big difference, and reason one is ranked #1 in yards and points, and the other is ranked 7th in total offense. If the 49ers had a better qb, they would probably be heavy favorites, but Garoppolo is one of the worse in the playoffs. His deep ball is probably the worse...

I can see a situation where Jimmy G balls out and Deebo bullies the shit out Dallas... Their defense can for sure be a factor - all in all I have no dog in that fight, I just want too see a a hard hitting game in that matchup

Meanwhile:

JETS JETS JETS!!!

But Cowboys fans are also not taking into account:
That the 49ers offense is going up against NFC west teams twice a year
Where 3 out of 4 are playoff teams (and playoff caliber defenses)

Whereas the Cowboys offense is going up against NFC East teams twice a year
Where 3 out of 4 are NOT playoff teams (and playoff caliber defenses)

The Eagles are in the playoffs, and they beat San Fran in San Fran this season. Didn't Dallas beat them last season with a backup qb?

With the way ya'll talk about the 9ers I really be wondering how y'all not undefeated. :lol:

They swept the Rams, and beat the Bengals and Eagles early in the season. They beat non playoff teams for the other 6 wins, and got swept by everybody else in their division.

The Rams were the best defense that running game worked on. They are solid, but not as battle tested as they want you to think.

They got Rams number. I'll give them that but I think its gonna be proven that Rams ain't about shit. :lol: Paper champions. :lol:

Yeah how many games them Cowboys play because Coop, Gallup, Schultz and Lamb all been hurt this year.

Cowboys offense high powered because they got so many guys involved. One game Wilson can take over. Next game if healthy Gallup can. Lamb can take over....Cooper can take over....Deebo can take over for sure.....Kittle at times.

Wait until Suh get ahold of it he gonna snatch that big toe.

NFC East is not as good as the NFC West....but who the hell is scared of the NFC West? Cardinals ain't shit, Rams ain't shit.....NFC West living on the backs of them old teams the Seahawks use to dominate in. All teams was sloppy in that division.

The Arizona Cardinals were one of the best teams in the NFL in the 1st half of the season
They were straight dominating teams, until DeAndre Hopkins got hurt
Do people not remember that they had the best record in the NFC & the #1 playoff spot until just recently

And the same thing with the Rams, until Robert Wood's injury
Rams were looking like an unstoppable powerhouse until just recently
When Stafford turned back into a pumpkin & started throwing multiple picks in these last few games

Everybody got injuries….that ain’t no excuse. Cardinals did this same exact shit last years….can’t win down the stretch. And Beckham and Kupp should be enough…what Stafford need a Pro Bowl team to play with?

B4 dak was dak, Matt was Matt… Matt is tier 1a choke artist..dak is 1b… they will both do the inevitable this playoffs..the only question is when.. they both “ gonna”.. just have the popcorn ready for the eventual collapse

Cowboys, Buffalo, and the Rams are under the most pressure to win this weekend, no doubt.

The Rams made the most moves to win this offseason and during the season, and Stafford is under hell of pressure. They have to go to the NFC championship. Anything less than a SB apearance is a huge failure. They trade away their future to win this year.

Buffalo were picked to be in the Super Bowl by many early in the season, Josh Allen was expected to be a top qb, and they have top personnel on both sides. They can't afford to lose a first round home game to a rookie qb. With their talent, they should at least make the AFC Chsmpionship.

The Cowboys were picked to be third in their division, to have a bottom 10 defense, and not expected to win 12 games. Fans are not as excited because they are fed up with the roller coaster ride and constantly hearing about the SB drought. They had an above average year on offense and defense, but they will start losing fan support if they do not get out of the first round, and get 2 playoff wins in a row. Romo was under more pressure than Dak, because he had to carry teams with poor coaching and below average defenses into the playoffs. Dak has no excuses, he has a top O Line, good rbs, good receivers, a top 10 to 15 defense by yards given up, and a healthy team.

Yeah, NFC West's top 2 teams were looking unstoppable until the injuries to the star receivers came. That being said, NFC West might only have 1 team standing by Tuesday. Honestly, with all the injured teams in the NFC, the Cowboys and 49ers winner have a good shot against the other teams, because of all the injuries.
