Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

I get not trusting the Cowboys.....I just don't get how the hell people trusting the 49ers with Jimmy G at quarterback....that's the one that's blowing my mind...and he hurt too?

Facts. I can't call it...I hope everyone puts they money where their mouth is and put it on the 9ers to win outright....hope they all lose they money.

The 49ers have gone to the SuperBowl despite having Jimmy G at quarterback, he’s seen as the ultimate game manager. People figure as long as he doesn’t lose you the game and makes a throw here or there the 49ers can win

I think Najee looks at it like I'm not going to think of myself as inferior no matter the odds and I can certainly respect that. The sacrifice he made to get back in that game in Baltimore playing with one arm was amazing. Steelers are not in the playoffs had he not came back in and got that 15yrd run. You can't be successful at anything in life believing you are inferior despite the odds. And truth be told, Ben doesn't believe that shit. I was sarcasm and word play on the media as what's expected from the world. Still, the crakkka shouldn't have said it. And, for the record, the Steelers should get destroyed. And I will watch and hold myself accountable for every single second of it. That doesn't mean any given Sunday doesn't apply here. A bad snap, a few fumbles, injuries, missed field goals apply to Kansas City as well. They can be beaten. Anyone can. This season out of any has told us that.

I know. Even if Ben does feel that way, Najee's pissed that he would say the quiet shit out loud and show a defeatist attitude that could ripple through the locker room while they're out here trying to help him live his best life for his final game. It takes the wind out of your sails.

True. Throw in JuJu coming back and it definitely gives you a shot in the arm.

That was years ago. And I’d argue that team won in spite of him. This team was just down 0-17 to the Rams…do that against the Cowboys and you cooked.

Yup, thats exactly what we did in the 2019 playoffs against the Packers
If a team can't stop the run.....y'all don't want to see the 9ers !!!
And the Cowboys run defense is "middle of the pack"

49ers secondary worse than middle of the pack lol….what people keep failing at is they keep talking about how teams with quarterbacks ran on the Cowboys…go see how teams with bum quarterbacks ran on the Cowboys lol.

That’s what I said they won despite him being QB and you‘re talking IF the Cowboys good team shows up, if like @tallblacknyc says Dak starts Dak’ing then the 49ers could pull it off. I‘ve been watching the sports shows on ESPN/FS1 and no one trust the Cowboys, seems they are giving the Patriots a better chance at beating the Bills..lol

Yep, Cowboys and Bills are facing the same shit. Both teams talented, but you have no idea which team will show up.

People trust the 49ers and Patriots more because of recent playoff success and their identities are known, even though their PEAKs are limited.

Look I ain't sitting here saying the Cowboys don't got some past demons to overcome. They could go out there and stink. My argument is why are we giving the 2021 49ers the benefit of the doubt? They getting a lot o respect for somebody who didn't do shit but beat the sorry ass Rams twice.

At the end of the day the 49ers still gotta see the Cowboys defense that for the first time is relatively healthy.

Everyone doubting the Cowboys. That's just perfect lol. Gonna be a lot of hurt people Monday morning lol.

Anybody paying attention shouldn't even trust the Pats or 49ers......Not with Mac Jones and Jimmy G at QB.

The fact everyone still is shaky about picking the Cowboys should tell you how big those demons are, even if the Cowboys beat the 49ers no one is going to be hurt they’re just going to say it was against the 49ers who haven’t done shit but beat the Rams. Now if the Cowboys face the Bucs and beat them then you gonna see some hurt people and the Cowboys will start getting that respect

I hope the Steelers make it to Superbowl. So Ben can go out with a crushing defeat from Mr Immunized himself.

i thought Brady was vaccinated

Them people clowns though lol. I mean I expect Cowboy haters and 49ers fans to pick the 9ers......but if the only argument you got is "49ers too physical" that's some weak ass argument to me. Them dudes were one game away from making the playoffs now "nobody wants to see them". Aight.

Yeah because how hard is it to beat the damn Browns or Vikings? He should do that with one foot.
well I guess we are about to find out. Everybody has them winning in the Super Bowl. Which doesn't mean shit because they get picked every other year to do so. But how glorious would it be for them to win right after my Bucks won a chip as well? :hellyea:

That shit glorious for you....like I said earlier everyone need to play in a dome why the fuck people gotta go to Lambeau and play in that cold ass shit?

49ers game is a tougher game than the Bucs. If the Cowboys beat the 49ers, and come out of it healthy, i think they match up well with everybody else except maybe Arizona, especially in bad weather.

Cowboys matchup better with the Bucs because Brady's offensive weapons are banged up or gone, and their secondary is not great.

Do not be surprised if the Eagles beat them.

Playing in the elements keeps games and venues interesting. I can't imagine EVERY team and every game being played in a controlled environment.
It's just as much an intangible edge as crowd noise in some of these stadiums.

Having said that, I, myself wouldn't attend a game in person this time of year. Fuck that! I'm watching from the warmth and comfort of my Rec Room.

I feel what you're saying
The 49ers secondary can definitely be exploited, especially with the weapons Dallas has

Just a quick note though,
The 9ers pass defense is not quite as bad as it looks on paper though
For most of the year our starting CB was injured & not playing
So we had to put old ass Josh Norman on the field
But now our starting CB (Emanuel Mosley) just came back
He picked off one of Stafford's passes, in the 3rd quarter
And also we have a rookie that just started the past few weeks that seems to be improving (Ambry Thomas)
He also picked off Stafford, in overtime
