I told you before stop listening to these talking heads, rewatch the game. I just rewatched the 4th quarter.
First off the OC did not allow 21 points scored against the Eagles defense. Also did not cause a personal foul and holding in the 4th quarter to give Denver a first down then they scored on both drives. The OC did not allow a 2 point conversion, taking a chance to tie away. 5 sacks on the QB, guess the OC caused thise results too. Denver 3rd and 15, 8:20 left in the game, terrible 4 man rush, no pressure and they get the first down. Terrible OC.
Offensive plays in the 4th. The OC did not over throw Goedard(may have been the 1st quarter), and Dotson. The OC didnt tell Brown to stop his route on the deep pass. I know the OC didnt tell Jalen to take a sack under 60 seconds left.
But you can blame the OC for not having the offense disciplined to not commit an illegal motion on a Barkley 9 yard run. 4th and 4, 20 yard pass to Smith caught, but brought back cause of an illegal shift, so they ended up punting.
The Super Bowl winning QB with a ring and a SB MVP should be able to read a defense and change a play from a pass to a run. Or change a play when there are 2 receivers on the left and a blitz coming from the right cause no one is there to bump him. Was Goedards shoulder grabbed on the play before the hail mary, yes. But its the OCs fault, the refs didnt throw the flag.
Just cause a play doesn't connect it's not the OCs fault, its the players. The penalties you can blame on the coaches, but it's the players that committed them, so still the players. They collectively lost as a team. Why not blame the head coach he hired the OC. Just accept the defense wasn't at their best.
Now I blame coaches for playing prevent defense cause it's made to leave the middle of the field wide open and it gets exploited.
