He get it from his pops because they both be saying a lot of dumb shit.
Boston better win this year
because after they pay Tatum
These teams are going to be too top heavy.
For all the bitchin’ folks do about owners doing the players dirty, they sure are paying up for these dudes. They can trade him to Utah tomorrow and I wouldn’t shed a tear. Y’all feeling sorry for niggas get paid $50-60 million a year. I can’t see it.
The wealth needs to be more equal across the board for players and they should be expected to honor the lucrative contracts they sign.
Why is he worth that much?
Dude hasn't won a finals MVP nor league MVP. But congrats to the Celtics on giving him that huge contract.
This the way of the sports world in my opinion. Reminds me of how the elite QB’s in football are constantly “one-upping” their contracts and haven’t won a ring. We all know that Tatum will have the “richest deal in NBA history” next year and then whoever the next Superstar who is eligible will beat out Tatum. But they are just going to be too heavy with no money to improve the overall team.
But like Teague said, most players would rather have the “richest deal in NBA” history than a title. Nothing wrong with that from their standpoint but as a fan who reaps no benefits from seeing these dudes get paid, I’d be upset if all the money is tied up on dudes that will never win anything together.
I don't see the Celtics improving much being able to afford players to help the team giving players those huge contracts that haven't gotten a ring or an MVP yet. This the way of the sports world in my opinion. There won't be no more big 3 with players getting that type of money because they would only be able to afford to get role players with 1 yr deals. This type of money, I’d hope to see 2010 Miami Wade-Bron-Bosh type of results lol. We know that ain’t happening in Boston.
Man this is so FUCKED UP
Gotdamn Lethal way of saying it but you know a lot of people thinking it. He needs to get that left going.
That would be without the buyout...I think this is inaccurate
because there's a huge buyout
If I was Jaylen Brown, after giving up 8 turnovers that last game, I'd be working on my handles (especially the left hand), every single day on the off season. He's fortunate that performance didn't mess up his money. I'm interested in seeing the details of the contract. That "worth up to" line has got me curious.
Congrats to the brotha!![]()
First I've seen of a "Jock Tax."
Do the owners have to pay a "Sitting on your ass and collecting off the work of others" tax?
If not, that seems unfair.
You don’t remember when Andrew mikutchin posted his pay stub?????First I've seen of a "Jock Tax."
