{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

You didn’t show me anything— I checked the numbers before I made my assertion.

What’s so much better about missing a full season as opposed to half of two? It is the same availability. Over four years.

And they played the exact same number of games this year. They’ve literally been equally unavailable.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other…

Everyone looking at the numbers and games played will fully get it and understand.

But just for you, "You're right "...

What you're right about?

Who knows but hopefully that makes you feel good.

The numbers and facts are what they are. Nobody is looking for you to make them feel good, Billy Bob Thornton.

Lost effect because I have no idea what Ted Lasso's voice sounds like, but I imagine him saying that is funny to you.

Just like those numbers and them picking a year Steph missed almost the entire season to fit their narrative sounds better to you.

It's semantics and I don't do semantics.

KD needs to fire his agent/manager it's just one bad decisions after another. Wonder which team he will go next season.
Ive said for years KD has a horrible team. Weve watched his "team" either direct or allow him to make horrendous decision after decision.. Most notably playing on a bad wheel and blowing his achilles in a contract year, followed by following Kyrie clown ass to Brooklyn.. KD needs to get that blood sucking "partner" of his out the paint and replace with someone with some got dam sense for whats left of his career.

Suns need to blow it up

Lame ass new owner came in and blew his fucking load to lose to the fucking nuggets in the 2nd round
Too early to blow the whole thing up.
The Booker/ KD pairing can have another year as long as they use CP3 and Ayton as trade pieces to replenish the bench.

The only person that NEEDS to be gone is Ayton. Get whatever you can for him and ship him wherever. He doesn't get to have input on the destination.

I just hope they don't fire Monty over this debacle. He done enough to earn one full Booker & KD / no more Ayton season.

I think it’s safe to say right now that Durant’s legacy is taking a hit.

KD going out bad

im so glad that all those Brooklyn Nets defecting niggas are getting knocked out, only Harden remains. I wanted him to beat Boston because I can’t stand Boston, but fuck it he can have a seat too and make the trifecta complete.

They still gotta go at least 3 months into next season before they can make any moves on Ayton and he has a year from his contract signing to tell Phoenix to fuck off if he doesn’t like the trade destination.

  • Phoenix cannot trade Ayton before January 15 of 2023, which means that it is unlikely that the Suns will be able to participate in any major offseason trades.
  • The contract includes a one-year no-trade clause that permits Ayton to block any deal during that period.
  • Since it was Indiana that initially presented Ayton with the offer sheet that Phoenix matched, the Pacers are unable to trade for Ayton for one year as well.
  • The deal takes the Suns beyond the NBA’s soft salary cap and into the luxury tax for 2022-23.

They need to tell dude don't even show up until we trade you...

They did it with Jae Crowder...

@M.H.C. how you feeling?
I’m proud of them boys:yes: I honestly didn’t expect them to close it out cuz they knew they had another one at home. I love the killer mentality cuz game 7’s are toss ups.

It’s crazy how the last time my squad was fully healthy we were also in the WCF. They gotta put some type of respect on the Nuggets name. Nuggets/Lakers/Heat all make it to the next round it will be a damn near repeat of the Bubble Conference Finals matchups

It proves that the bubble wasn't a fluke.
The core of those teams is the same.

Suns lost to the #1 seed. If niggas gave the proper respect than the Suns have nothing to hang their head about. But folks steady acted like the Nuggets weren’t legit and it’s gonna stay that way unless they reach the Finals. Gotta tough matchup either way next round

This why I fuck with KD

Who was acting like the Nuggets wasn’t legit?

They are full healthy, with a two time MVP, deep bench, championship experienced player in KCP, a dynamic PG, and practically the number one see the entire year.

Personally, I didn’t think them, the Bucks, Philly, or Boston, didn’t have any excuses not to win an NBA championship.

What I heard is that next season his contract isn't guaranteed..So, The Suns came let him go!!..

Either run it back next year or Reload...
  • 2023-24 $15,800,000 guaranteed, fully guaranteed on 6/28/23
  • 2024-25 non-guaranteed, fully guaranteed on 6/28/24
In 2023-24, Paul will earn a base salary of $30,800,000, while carrying a cap hit of $30,800,000 and a dead cap value of $15,800,000.

Did you not see the vid I posted with Durant 4? That was after game 1 but that’s been the overall sentiment. The media asked KD if he was surprised about the Nuggets? The Nuggets been #1 damn near all season. They downplayed that by saying it was a “Weak Western Conference”. They were the sports betting UNDERDOG in this series to a damn 4 seed. NOBODY picked them as favorites in the West. Go look it up. Y’all swear Denver and it’s fans just be making this shit up. Suns, Lakers and Warriors were the talk of West when it came to the playoffs. And it will continue in the WCF. Ultimate respect comes with a Championship but at least respect the top seed enough to not be surprised when they win.

Why y’all sad for KD. He got 2 rings. Regardless of how we feel about how he got them, he got em. Be sad for CP3.
