I mean, it like you know Ben isn’t going to get the ball. Why even entertain him as a decoy?

Vaughn is doing great in Brooklyn. Nets finally stopped with all the distractions and look at them now. Who would have thought? Focus on the game instead of everything outside of it, and the results are showing.

I think the media hyped the distractions more than it appeared. It's pretty obvious they don't want the Nets to excel due to how silent they are about this win streak. Let it be any other team win 12 in a row, 16 out of 17 and shit getting a whole segment on this talk shows.. but let somebody like something on social media and that shits in the first segment

Yes, there was media hype, which was also being feed by everything that was happening with the organization and players.

They was giving the media enough material to prolong an entire season last year. This season picked up where is left off.

Once Nash got fired, Kyrie shut the fuck up, and Ben settled in, there was nothing else to talk about. And let’s be fortunate that KD didn’t get hurt during this mess because bruh has been putting it all on the floor night after night. That shit has been amazing and nerve racking at the same time. Now it seems like he doesn’t have to do as much.

Why Luka got folks so hot? I'm a Cavs fan too, but that 20 rebound shit is a bit much. Damn.

Because of the attention he gets for stats and how they've tried to make him MVP for a .500 team.

With Harden he got roasted for his usage rate and his team was doing much better.

and the media places blame on his teammates, but Brunson left why.... Did anyone look at Houston's roster or use that excuse?

Dallas needs to get better players....why...so the media can praise hm 24/7 and make him a 7 time MVP

Can't stand the agenda driven BS in sports....all you hear now is the announcers slobbing Luka and Jokic like they are MJ's sons or some shit

Look at Ben goofy ass slow down with the thought he might get the ball.

When I was watching them play the Hornets the other night, I saw that fool sit in the same spot offensively for three straight possessions.

He is a waste of fuckin space. Just out there wandering the fuck around. He only scores he is put in certain positions to have to score.

Sure, the Nets are playing great right now. And because the league is wide open, anyone can win it. Even the Nets with Ben just wandering around mindlessly on the court.

 We roasted James Harden. We shit on him. We shit on anyone making an excuse for him. Right here on BGOL.

Give a fuck what anyone says. Luka reminds me of a poor man's Lebron. Yeah, he is white so it ain't going to be a popular opinion on BGOL. But I said this years ago when he was putting up numbers and giving the Clippers all they could handle. He's a beast. Period.

Fuck the joker. Fuck Nash for taking Kobe's MVP. But I can deal with Luka.

Cavs drug-tested on heels of Donovan Mitchell's 71-point night
play

6:27 PM ET
A day after a historic 71-point game from All-Star Donovan Mitchell, the Cleveland Cavaliers were issued tests for performance-enhancing drugs Tuesday afternoon, the team confirmed to ESPN.

Players are typically subject to four random tests for PEDs during the season and two during the offseason, according to the collective bargaining agreement between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association.

In a 145-134 overtime victory against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, Mitchell scored the most points by an NBA player since Kobe Bryant's 81-point game against Toronto on Jan. 22, 2006.

"Andddd just like that we are drug tested this morning," Mitchell wrote on Twitter to his teammate, Robin Lopez, along with three crying-laughing emojis.

During his historic outburst, Mitchell went 22-of-34 from the field, made 7 of 15 3-pointers and scored 13 points in overtime to help the Cavs come back from a 21-point deficit to beat the Bulls.

However, the NBA's Last Two Minute Report released Tuesday afternoon stated Mitchell should have been called for a lane violation on a missed free throw with 4.1 seconds remaining in regulation. Mitchell grabbed his own offensive rebound after missing the free throw and scored the game-tying layup to force overtime.

"It made it hard for Patrick [Williams] to block him out because [Mitchell] was certainly across the free throw line before the ball hit the rim," Bulls coach Billy Donovan told reporters following the game Monday night in Cleveland.

Mitchell also added 11 assists, by far the most by a player in a 70-point game in NBA history. In total, Mitchell scored or assisted 99 points for the Cavs, the most by any player since Wilt Chamberlain's NBA-record 100-point game.

Gilbert Arenas said on a podcast that when players do something theyve never done before that triggers an automatic drug test. Pretty sure Luka got piss tested after that insane triple double.

He's far more impactful than MPJ but those are the 2 mf's I was keeping an eye on this season regarding health and availability. MPJ has already had a long stretch of missing games this season and now it's Zion's turn. SMDH. Get better fellas but damn.:smh:

so who in your opinion won the trade between the sixers and nets? The first time they played after the trade the nets totally dominated the sixers but the next time they played early in the season last year the sixers won handely..not only that but did it WITHOUT Embiid, Harden and Maxey AND with KD, Kyrie and Simmons playing. They were both on long winning streaks until sixers folded recently...

sooo how would you say the trade went now that we're a bit farther along??
