{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

That's the job of the referees. The job of players is to play, not to act.

Admitting flopping is a bad look and, most importantly, an admission that should make them notorious as admitted actors and taken into account every time it looks like they may have been fouled.

Players have to act, selling calls is a part of the game.

Do you think players really fall like this when taking charges?

This is what it looks like when you actually run a person over

But refs are horrible and miss and make bad calls all the time .

Dennis is gonna force Kerr to use a challenge on one of his flops

Even Shannon Sharpe talking about the Lakers shouldn't try hard and just wait for Game 6...what team would take a chance like that ESPECIALLY against a team like the Warriors :hithead:

I don’t get that logic. The Lakers should really try and win tonight. The champs are still the champs until they are out. All the sports commentators saying the Lakers should not try tonight are out their damn mind.

Warriors are gonna get out to an early double-digit lead because The Lakers are gonna try and go shot-for-shot with em. All The Lakers need to do is play in the paint. Start Russell, Reeves and Schroeder, and have em dribble into the paint directly at Draymond. Attack the shooters and make Klay and Wiggins actually guard the attack. If the Warrior’s starters don’t have 2 fouls by halftime Lakers lose. Get Draymond, Klay and Wiggins at least two fouls each simply but attacking, even if you miss the shots.

How many times is Hart going to try to hurt jimmy ?

Flagrant 1

I understand that you're a homer and going for Miami but at some point you have to get realistic.

Jimmy jumped from behind the 3-point line and landed a good almost 2 feet inside the 3-point line.

Yes Hart jumped forward but not that much. Jimmy extended his legs to initiate the contact.

Y'all got the call so cool, no need to put extras on it.

I think they want draymond to shut up and play. Doing a podcast after you lose a game seems like a distraction more than anything.

Dropping a sex tape after the game is distracting. Getting arrested between games is a distraction. Doing a podcast focused on the game and the rest of the playoffs is not a distraction.

It's no more demanding than doing a postgame interview or press conference, which is recognized as good for the game. He's not even having guests on during the playoffs. It's a 20 minute podcast and there's no way he spends more than 30 minutes prepping for it, so we're talking about an hour out of the man's day. "Fans" gotta stop acting like they own these guys.

Does anybody really believe a podcast has affected a single on-court possession for the Warriors? It's a ridiculous criticism.

He didn't jump 2 feet forward lol
Hart wasn't even paying attention where his feet were. He was being careless. He's the one that kicked Jimmy's ankle that caused the injury and the thigh contusion when he came back.

I don't ask for much, all I ask is that people know what they're talking about when they talk to me.
