Philly has a PG?

With their talent, they shouldn't be losing 3-2 to Philly with a less than 100% Embiid.

Brogdon and a full year of Derrick White, they should be better than last year.

Does Boston have an offensive game plan? adjustments?
On paper they are more talented than last year

It was a defensive team. Now they play the 3-point game and have benched Williams( so they lose the double big threat they had before).

if doc wins this series does the narrative change?

unless the sixers win the championship this year I think the glenn rivers experiment should be done at the end of this season. even if they get past the 2nd round.

The Process is OVER ..time for new leadership.

I like how theyre gelling and finding way to win but I still think that unless they win a ring this should be the last season for the doc rivers experiment.

the doc rivers experiment needs to end after this season

oh dude...I am SO DONE with Glenn Rivers Experiment (the only Doc I recognize and associate with the NBA and the Sixers is Julius Erving) Outside of the sixers winning a chip in this run...regardless of whether they beat boston...this needs to be Rivers last year here! These stats were in January:

What does that tell you?? Rivers seems to be a more dynamic coach when he doesn't rely on his "big guns". He actually USES his bench more effectively and they respond to the call. Game 1 wasn't a fluke... its whats been happening all year! And when Embiid comes back Rivers reverts back to his conventional ways and while its great for Joel's numbers it works against the team ultimately because his bench players and 2nd unit all resort to Embiid and Harden when their on the floor.

The big observation everyone had about the last two games is players were HESISTANT when they were open. So and so was wide open and DIDN'T take the shot. X was open and looked around before doing anything. Why? Because the directive is when Embiid or Harden are on the floor they are the FIRST OPTION no matter what! So even when players are wide open theyre checking to see where Joel is before they DO ANYTHING!

And all this has done was pad Embiid's stats, along with a sympathy campaign, so that he could win an INDIVIDUAL award he so desperately wanted. So he's finally got his MVP trophy but look at the cost to the TEAM. All this falls on the coach and the front office. Embiid is the face of the team and theyre more invested in promoting that rather than winning a championship.

:smh: :smh: :smh:

short answer...nope

Good shit @jack walsh13
Impressive win
I'll be happy for tonight and tonight only. Let's not sit up here and act like Boston can't win two straight. In the playoffs, you laugh one day and cry the next. Unlike some stupid ass dickhead on here who runs his fuckin mouth when his team wins, I'll remain lowkey until the job gets done. If it even gets done at all. Embiid showed why on the defensive end he should have been the MVP for the 3rd consecutive year over Jokic. Joker cannot do what Embiid does defensively.

I think Jalen is outta there

Stop it dude is 25 he's not going anywhere. especially with the supermax

You don't think he wants to be the man?

You are right he does. but that money is too good to lose by leaving.
I honestly don't think it's about the money for Brown at this point.

Every off season his name is being thrown out there in trade rumors. Tatum also usually gets the last shot in close games even if his shot is off and Brown is cooking.

It's not necessarily wanting to be the man and more just wanting some more respect from the organization. I've always thought Brown was the overall better player, but the organization clearly views Tatum as the main focus.
