{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

And exactly what does that mean?

Because last week y'all wanted to trade him for a bag of Doritos and a jug of red Kool Aid.

No, he's right

at this point he's better as a three, because he can't be counted on

Well, he WAS a reliable 2 option. Now of days, not so much.

I still see him as a reliable second option, the fact the media constantly points to him when he doesn't have a big game when the Warriors lose but overlook him when he has a good game and the Warriors win proves it. Watch this next game IF he has a good game and the Warriors win nothing will be said but if the Warriors lose he will get the blame

Because that good game is one in every three or four games.

How is that a number two?

You're joking right?
He's a volume shooter hoisting them up at 38% from the field, making a shade less than one out of every three 3pt shots in the postseason.

He is still amazing at times but he's not consistent at all. Curry can be counted on to contribute even when his shot isn't falling. Klay doesn't switch it up, you can just count on him to chuck another one off the side of the backboard.

He's more appreciated than Draymond because when he's good people appreciate his offense more than game-winning defense but he has not been the second most important player since 2016. Since the Toronto series, Draymond has been much more important and irreplaceable. I want the core to stay together but I think Klay needs a reality check on who he is at this point.

Those are actually his series stats, my mistake. He's 39% from three for the postseason and 42% overall.

Notice how similar those numbers are? 118 of his 188 shots have been from 3, 62% of them. Compare that to 43% in 2019. 45% in 2018.

He's in a different stage of his career now. If all he can do is shoot threes and hope to have the hot hand, he's not a #2 option anymore.

I’m not done with Poole just yet. Everybody struggles at some point. We’ve seen what he can do. Let’s go Poole!!!!
I'm just tired of media and fans treating him like a domestic abuse victim, sick of the lazy ass analysis bringing up very old off-the-court shit for lack of ability to intelligently comment on the actual games.
