fuck out muscle him. kd can turn around and shoot over him without ever seeing tony allen. he doesn't have to back him down he doesn't have to make a move all he has to do is catch the ball turn around and shoot a bunny and make it. he could do that all night. there's nothing allen could do to stop it because the ball would be out before allen could do whatever he called himself doing. he would foul out they would double team or just get killed.
that's easy money.

OKC...the reason they are good,is also the reason they can't win it all.
They simply take too many bad shots,too many wasted possessions.
Durant and Westbrook are great players,but both force so many shots.
And what are they running on offense?....seldom do they run set plays.
I have little faith that Brooks is the right guy for this squad.
If this team had a distributing point they could win the title...but as is,no.

They can win it all if the right breaks go for them....as is the case with all championship squads if we are honest.
Coaching is a bit spotty but as this playoffs has shown coaching is a bit iffy all around the league.
Shot selection seems to be their bane this series rather than matchups.
When they get to the second round they will be back to looking like world beaters again
Look at the Spurs...they were their usual machine-like self in the regular season and are in an epic tussle so far with Dallas.
All this is to say that if they get past Memphis they are going straight to the finals.

Spurs/Dallas lookin that way too but judging by the 3 games they played so far Dallas out played the spurs.. If this keeps up I see Dallas in 6

okc ran rub screens and pick and rolls for jackson and most of his action was going to the rim.
westbrook and kd could do that every trip down but brooks runs plays so they can get jumpers.. its that simple.
what jackson did last night should be what westbrook does every night if the offense was designed that way. its what kd could do every night if the coach had any sense.
he'd rather run pick and roll with jackson and collison
than fucking westbrook and ibaka.. neither of which has a guy who can guard them and match their athleticism
all he had to do was step up and go to the rim.
there isn't anyone who can stop westbrook and jackson from going to the rim. if brooks drove home that point this series wouldn't be close.
they just aren't athletic enough.
the only rub to that is that Westbrook is far more under control shooting that free throw line jumper down that making forays into the lane.

that part is true and a travesty he doesn't get rewarded for going to the rim like he should. however if they rubbed more or did the pick and pop it would force memphis to scramble. memphis can cover shooting areas well. that's why it looks like everything is d'd up. they're going to shooting spots. if they had to guard the entire court including the lane to the rim? it would be curtains. like i said gasol and randolph would be in foul trouble instantly because they don't have the athleticism to challenge anyone's shot without fouling the fuck out of them.

I really hated that the Rockets got rid of him along with Courtney Lee. Two battle tested veterans who play perimeter defense which the Rockets lack
That wouldn't be a bad move for him.......I think the Wiz should try to improve their team from within but I understand teams don't want to do the Blazers and Thunder route. They'd rather to the Nets and Knicks and Heat type thing.
