This is a horrible trade for Houston. Rondo isn't enough for Harden by himself, let alone adding a 1st rd pick.
Stop it, the refs gave several calls to Wizards in that last 3 minutes, including a possesion that was clearly off Wizards but no instant replay since it wasn't 2 min mark.

Harden numbers are inflated, they will never win anything with him as their go to guy, Rondo would make the others better and they can easily find a scorer to replace Harden, plus in my trade they will be getting Boston lottery pick in a deep draft..

brooks is incompetent. memphis does not have the foot speed to contend with a simple pick and roll concept. they would literally have to go to a zone but does he command they do this every trip with any of the 3 ibaka/westbrook/durant combinations? NOPE they're running flare screens and looking to get jumpers because the coach instructed them to. even going to the rack has been a better option than trying to find a jumper on the floor.
memphis is nowhere near as athletic at the 1, 3 or 5 position but they're letting them off the hook.
we'll see what the players decide to do cause brooks is going to offer nothing other than keep shooting

they're executing the wrong game plan. memphis is not athletic enough to contend with a pick and roll. doesn't even have to speed the game up. they could walk it up every possession and pick and roll and they'd score 80% of the time.
and they're not playing defense they're pretending to play defense but they're not. the memphis players are not fast enough to be beating them from the perimeter to the rim and losing them on cuts to the rim.

Bruh, you're way out there. Harden was among the league leaders in PER, TS% and eFG, he is the polar apposite of 'inflated numbers'. You can't easily find a scorer to replace him. unless you have LeBron or KD on your roster.Harden is playing like shit offensively right now and his defense is horrible, but the reason why the Rockets ain't winning anthing is.....
