I kinda agree. Morey constructed the team to be a fast break team that also shoots high volume of 3 pointers but the Rockets don't have the shooters. With that said, the Rockets are still a great enough offensive team. The problem is McHale and his dumb down defensive scheme. you can't make a guy go off for 40 plus points back to back nights in a playoff series. I don't care if its Durant or Jordan. McHale made no adjustments on Aldridge...

They don't need to really triple team him but a mix up of double teams and some zones can help. He has to get some other defensive looks. He's killing the Rockets one on one. I rather take a gamble on Lillard and the guards making 3's instead of Aldridge dropping 40+ each night.

LA is a problem man.....i wont be surprised if McHale gets one of his bench players that doesnt get much playin time, to go in and try to take him out. Portland just might sweep em with the next 2 games being at home. And with Harden making such a low percentage of his shots......its not lookin good for the Rockets.

houston needs to design more Lin to Howard offensive plays....

Honestly McHale's style of coach is prevalent in a lot of old school, legend players turn coach.
(Different sport but to help prove my point) Nolan Ryan told the rangers pitching staff something along the lines that he didn't believe in set up pitchers and that the starters needed to figure out how to pitch thru adversity and make it to the closer.
Mchale made NO ADJUSTMENTS to defending LA. He's like Y'ALL FIGURE OUT HOW TO STOP HIM WHILE I WATCH THE GAME AND ENJOY THIS DIET COKE.
It's like he just wants to tell them what to do and expect them to execute it to the same standards as he would have done it when he played.
