It was less of a shot to neymar and more of showing how Messi just keeps going, any other player would've just dropped and rolled on the ground after some of those hits...

I am not one to call myself a fan of Messi but by this video(I didnt watch it all)he has gained a LOT LOT of RESPECT and ADMIRATION from me.
Makes me despise the likes of Robben, the entire frontline of the ManU especially Asley Young etc. the more. They need tto watch this video and see how better it it to stay up on your feet instead of diving.
It perplexes me that some of his teammates on Barca don't follow suit(I'm looking at you Busquets and Alves). Not to mention Neymar. Shit, Alexis too.
We all know where I lie on the fence with Lio....but let's not say he never flops. It is very few and far in between but he does it.

that team stunk and was lucky not to have lost that opening game and the mexico one.
It would have been much closer. Losing Neymar and Silva before this game is like the equivalent of the Seahawks losing Sherman and Lynch before the superbowl....even worse for Brazil because Silva was also the team captain. With those two and especially Silva, it's probably close to a 2-1 or 3-1 win for Germany. But that defense was already leaking and it was held together by Silva. With him gone, it was just open season. The writing was on the wall when Maicon was made a starter last game and subbed in for Alves.
But this team was not great in the first place. You could tell that by the way they performed in their group...which was one of the easier groups.
