I'm following a discussion in my feed. They're really serious about this. They're in soul-searching mode right now saying Brazilian football needs to be modernized.

Could very well be the case. I think there's a case of mistaken identity with brazilian football at the moment.

They play zero samba style or anything resembling it. It's so damn European across the board.

Maybe a reboot back to the basics is in order.

one thing they need to do is make it affordable again. they only letting white people play the game. thats why the samba is disappearing. this was expected. at this rate you will never see a ronaldo, ronaldihnio etc again.

Hmmmm.... This bunch here can't Samba to save their lives and there isn't a whiteboy in sight. :smh::smh:

Now this bunch on the other hand..:yes:

Maybe it's racial, maybe it isn't, I really don't know, but I do know that the basics of good, clean, attacking football have gone out of the window with the Selecao.

Neymar stole the headlines sure, but we all knew that that group was highly suspect going forward.

:dunno:

i saw the documentary few years back basically is a money thing. since white Brazilian have the most money they get to play. and even then they said it would have consequences. i forgot all about that until yesterday. :smh:

Naw man... there are probably more black people on this team than previous teams. Brazil is looking like the U.S. No creativity at midfield for Brazil?:smh::smh:

even think of all the goals neymar scored.. none of them came off passes from a midfielder... it's like Brazil's midfield never recovered from that Zidane raping from 2006.

I can't imagine it being any different now than it was 20 years ago in terms of costs. I don't think it's a race thing.. it's a playing-style thing. Brazil used to dominate the midfield...now they average at best.

Agreed. I noted during the earlier matches that none of their goals came from open play, but set pieces. Highly unlike the attractive Brasilian teams of yesteryear.

i saw the documentary and it was becoming a problem because the good players wouldnt get chances. its more a money thing but they said the white people have that so it would be hard for others to make it. will try and find it. it was made by Brazilians. basically what they was saying then is what we are seeing now. but then again you live there so you prolly know it better but i know what i saw.

It could be possible. It's not like I'm here tracking what's happening at the youth-league level.

If that's the case, I don't doubt you one bit. That's exactly our problem in this country. :smh::smh::smh:

i understand
i will try and find it. also these guys(black players) kinda old so it might had been before the prices etc were high . but oscar and bernard around the right age.

yeah man it was stupid:smh: ronaldo is my favorite player of all time. the chances that i will never see a player like him cause of this shit is dumb.

Scolari and his staff are getting interviewed right now on Globo. This shit looks like Watergate trial or something. He's like.."we didn't kill anyone..no one died."

what's crazy is that the national news stations in Brazil are showing these on tv man.. Globo just did a 5 minute run of the memes clowning brazil and the newscasters were actually laughing afterwards

Might that be a problem for the newcasters?...some take this game a little too serious.

A little?

Football is the next thing to oxygen.

The coach has to take some blame for this breakdown.

I don't even know why Luiz is playing defense.

Why Hulk switching from left wing to right wing.

Shit......I had no idea what the coach was doing.

Brazil should be the last side that have difficulties putting good midfielders and forward on the pitch.

Bad enough they lost but the injury to Neymar open up a lot of ppl eyes.

It normally would be. I actually think this is a collective coping mechanism. A lot of people are taking this much lighter than what I would imagine. I think some people are still in denial and it hasn't completely suck in yet.

Why did he stay with the aggressive formation when that would play right into Germany's strength. Even the players said they knew from the alignment they would get a lot of opportunities in Germany's manager actually made the adjustments to attack it even more.

You can do that against Chile and Colombia but he had to know it wouldn't be wise to attack Germany like that...especially when the defense was already without Silva.

My fam pointed it out over the weekend and I definitely agree. What Brazil needs is a creative MF. Along with someone up front, but what was the key to their samba style was a MF who could hold the ball and dance, creating the show and stringing the passes to guys up front like Fred.

Still don't understand his reasoning. :smh::smh:
