We lost about 10 games including the let down vs Indy when Tyson was out, we also lost games early b/c we had no pg and used Tony early... soon as Lin took over they won more than they lost.
A returning Lin plus a legit backup, spot starter in Kidd plus Camby being there in case Tyson needs to miss games or needs rest in games should give this team about 10-15 more wins.
The knicks biggest issues we lack of cohesion and random ass injuries... they never really got to play together, they have a whole offseason and training camp now... Tyson has already scheduled team OTA's before the official camp...team chemistry can do wonders...
Yeah I do question the nets... their cap will be tied into 4 players and all the good ring chasers will be gone by the time Dwight is a net, and avery is not a good coach...
Knicks now have 5 roster spots... I think Rivers Kid and Chris Smith get 2 of them... the Greek dude gets the 3rd... maybe Lewis and JJ round it out...

They will still potentially have a hell of a turnaround tho this season...and w/ Dwight still potentially end up having a better season than y'all in less than a year...only season's end will tell...but to imply they're not building a team...a formidable one @ that is just ridiculous

Nets have never won an nba finals, its nice to go but what have they won?
Lin only makes 5 mil this season third year its 9.3 but who knows what type of player he'll be in year 3... so its 58mil.
after getting dwight the nets will have all their cap tied into 4 players with like 7 on the roster...unless dwight and them are gonna play 82 games at 40-48 a game the nets will be out of it by the players, they have no backup at Center with Dwight coming off of back surgery... no back up at pg with Deron and his wrist thing... Wallace is injury prone and they have no backup at SF... they bout to s &t their starting PF too.. what the nets did was cool for them but they have no depth and waiting for Dwight has cost them Camby, Kidd, prob Lewis, maybe even Allen even the heat have backups...

what do thr hornets have to do with the nets? Eric Gordon said he wants out and the hornets responded he won't escape. Lin hasn't said anything so why should the knicks especially when the contract is so reasonable?

Other sources outside of the nets paid ones are all saying Cleveland isn't onboard and Orlando isn't either... Also Lopez's brother said he doesn't want Orlando unless he gets Max money which Orl is reluctant to do since he isn't a max player...and he is looking at other deals just as Humphries is...
The nets do this, they use media sources to apply pressure they did it when chasing Lebron, the did it with Melo and they r doing it with Dwight... This deal is being pushed by Dwight and the Nets... but not every team is onboard...

Nets don't have a finalized roster...but they are assembling a decent team...you're just too myopic to see it...after the Heat signed their big names...it took them a season to work things out and get their bench/team...the Knicks are now tryna do the same thing...after signing the big names a season later they are now tryna get the kinks straight w/ their bench/team...for the Nets re-signing Deron and Wallace and getting Johnson were good moves that have them w/ a better team than last year...getting Dwight would be a huge move this season alone...and they'll have time to build on that...

Rob is smart man. He didn't start talking to the Nets till he felt there was no choice left.
If a deal doesn't get done with the Nets. He is stuck with bad contracts. Which slows him down on rebuilding the team.
Which only makes things worst for him. He never wanted to compete. The owners wanted Bynum. When Bynum said he wouldn't resign in Orlando they abandon ship.
Rob wants to build his own team from the ground up. That happens faster with this deal. If he didn't like this deal the Nets would have announce they have resign Brook Lopez
that's when you know this deal is dead.
