Quincy Miller FINALLY gets signed

SLAM ONLINE said:
The Denver Nuggets have signed second-round draft pick Quincy Miller, effectively completing the team’s 15-man roster. The 6-9, one-and-done forward from Baylor, averaged 6.8 points and 5 rebounds per game during the NBA Summer League. Via the Denver Post: “It’s understood that on this deep Nuggets team, the 19 year old will likely spend some time in the D-League this season. But the plan is to have the Baylor product in camp and let him develop with Denver’s assistants as much as possible. The 6-9, 210-pound forward, was the 38th overall selection in the draft. He averaged 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 37 games, helping the Baylor Bears reach the Elite Eight. Miller was actually considered one of the top players in his entire high-school class, along with Anthony Davis, before an injury.”

I for sure thought homeboy was going to be the odd man out but he completes the 15. This squad is DEEP!

Matt Barnes likely will sign with the clippers

K-mart will either wait till mid season when money frees up or retire.

OKC isn't very interested in bringing Derek Fisher back. Fisher turn down the Bulls which led them to sign Nate

Look out!!!....Celtics signed Darko.

That will put them over the hump:lol:

Seriously tho...I bet they get something out of him...other than garbage.

Free-agent center Darko Milicic has decided to stay in the NBA and continue his career with the Boston Celtics, Milicic's agent, Marc Cornstein, confirmed to ESPN.com.

More From ESPNBoston.com
The Celtics will add some depth to their frontcourt with the signing of Darko Milicic, writes ESPNBoston.com's Chris Forsberg. Reaction

Milicic, after weighing strong interest from teams abroad trying to lure him back to Europe -- such as perennial Spanish power Real Madrid -- has committed to join the Celtics and is scheduled to be in Boston by week's end to make the deal official.

Milicic, 27, spent the past two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves but was released in July via the amnesty clause with two seasons left on a four-year, $20 million contract signed with the Wolves in the summer of 2010.

The former No. 2 overall pick -- selected by the Detroit Pistons ahead of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in the 2003 NBA draft -- also played for Orlando, Memphis and New York before his Minnesota stint.

For all their depth along the perimeter, the Celtics are still a bit thin at the center spot, with only the likes of Chris Wilcox (coming off of heart surgery) and Jason Collins in place to back up Kevin Garnett.

I actually dont think that is a bad signing. Sometimes you put a "scrub" in the right situation and he turns out to be reasonably useful

2003 top 5 picks got a ring except Melo

Celtics still ass

Yeah... one got lucky his rookie year... and one got with Shaq.... and 3 of them teamed up together... If 'Melo were to team with any combination of two of the top 5 except Darko... He'd have a ring too... In other words... Lebron, Wade and Melo... or Bosh, Lebron and Melo... would win a ring... HANDS DOWN...

what you got against Melo ?

Celtics will always be a contender as long as Doc is coaching them in my opinion

The homie will forever be mad at the Knicks... :smh:
I understand why he's mad but... his anger for the Knicks has spilled over on to almost EVERY NEW YORK CITY SPORTS TEAM... except the Yankees...
But like Shaddy... If 'Melo was to go to his team (The Heat)... all of the 'Melo hate would automatically turn into PURE LOVE FOR 'MELO... PLEASE BELIEVE IT...
