You know what... Bosh deserves it.

I dont know healthy Wade is, or isnt, but fact of the matter is we need Bosh to have that go-to scorer mentality to win games.

Man, Bosh has meant more to Miami than Wade has since the arrival of LB and Bosh. He has always been an option over Wade, imo.

Wade is still coming off that knee injury or whatever it was and from what i saw in the highlights he twisted his ankle. Wade will be alright he just needs to heal up and Brons been balling for like 3-4 years straight or some shit like that with Olympics, Playoffs, Reg Season he needs to chill and take a break this summer

Don't know who means more or what but I've always felt better with the offense flowing thru Bosh. The perfect set would be a triangle scheme with Bron and Bosh operating the blocks.

LeBron James' lowest scoring average is against the Los Angeles Clippers.

James struggled to score in last season's lone meeting against the Clippers heading into Wednesday night's matchup at Staples Center for the Miami Heat.

The three-time league MVP is averaging 23.1 points in 17 lifetime games versus Los Angeles (5-2). He missed 12 of 19 shots for 23 points in last season's 95-89 overtime loss.

James, however, had 13 rebounds and seven assists in that contest. The Clippers know his game is not based solely on scoring.

"You just have to make him work," Los Angeles forward Matt Barnes said. "He's such a talented player, the scoring numbers aren't always how he benefits his team the most. He controls the game through passing, through rebounding, through playing defense as well."

James was off to a slow start by his standards, averaging 21.9 points through his first seven games. He broke out with a season-high 38 -- 32 after halftime -- in Monday's 113-110 victory at Houston.

"It's the zone you hear about," James said. "Certain players talk about getting into the zone. I wish I could get into it more. But when you're in it, you know how it feels, you know everything you put up and how you're going is pretty good."

Miami (6-2) bounced back from a 104-86 loss at Memphis the night before. James only scored 20 in that contest before he turned in one of the most brilliant displays of the early season.

"I expected him to make every single shot he threw up," Chris Bosh said Monday. "I guess, after 30 points, you think everything is going in."

Bosh continued his strong play this season with 24 points and 10 rebounds. He's averaging 20.9 points -- his highest in two-plus seasons since joining the Heat in 2010 after averaging at least 22.3 his last five seasons with Toronto.

"He's Mr. consistent," teammate Dwyane Wade said of Bosh. "He is a guy who does what he has to do and obviously on the offensive end he is multi-talented."

James is good friends with Clippers guard Chris Paul, a teammate at the London Olympics. They have split 12 meetings, with James averaging 25.0 points and 7.6 assists in those games and Paul 17.1 and 9.7, respectively, in those categories.

Paul is second in the league with 10.3 assists per game for a Clippers team that continues to showcase tremendous depth. Reserve guard Jamal Crawford leads the club with his 20.1 average.

Crawford is in a similar role as Heat veteran Ray Allen, who has been limited to 13 points over his last two games.

"This is a tough team you know with their Big 3 and then having Ray Allen coming off the bench," Barnes said. "They are a very talented and deep team. So we just have to stay focused and locked into the game plan and try to create the tempo we want to play at the defensive end."

Los Angeles won its third straight, 89-76 at home over Atlanta on Sunday. Blake Griffin led six Clippers in double figures with 16 points.

The Clippers' 9-2 home record against the Heat since 2001-02 is their second-best against any opponent. Miami, which is 2-1 on its current six-game road swing, has lost four straight on the road in this series.

This is a gruesome road trip MIA is on. I think Wade may need to starting sitting out some games if his foot is bothering him. Its definitely not going to heal if he keeps playing.

Heat-Nuggets Preview
STATS LLC

While their offense has been up to the task, the Miami Heat's defense hasn't been close to championship form.

The Denver Nuggets have similar concerns defensively with the NBA's highest-scoring team coming to town Thursday night.

After finishing fourth in the league in scoring defense at 92.5 points per game during their 2011-12 championship season, Miami (6-3) ranks near the bottom at 101.0 points per game this season.

The Heat allowed just 16 of 66 opponents to reach 100 points last season, but have let six teams surpass that mark in 2012-13.

Miami fell to 2-2 on its six-game road trip following a 107-100 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The Heat, who have lost 10 straight at Denver, now must deal with a Nuggets team which ranks fifth in the Western Conference with 99.1 points per game.

"We have some good moments, but we have to put a full game together on the road," guard Dwyane Wade said. " The important thing right now is to figure out how we can get better."

The Heat have compensated for some of their defensive deficiencies by leading the NBA in scoring (104.9) and 3-pointers made (80) and are second in field-goal percentage (49.7). With LeBron James (24.6), Chris Bosh (19.8) and Wade (16.9), Miami is one of two teams with three players among the top 30 in scoring.

James scored 30 points and Ray Allen added 14 on four 3-pointers against the Clippers. Wade, though, was held to six while playing with a sprained left foot.

"I had some shots that I normally make that I wasn't able to hit, but I just tried to help as much as I could and do my job as a leader on the floor," said Wade, 0-8 lifetime at Denver despite averaging 22.0 points on 50.4 percent shooting.

Denver, 2-0 at home, will attempt to regroup after having its four-game winning streak snapped in a 110-100 loss at Phoenix on Monday night.

Andre Iguodala led five players in double figures with 17 points, JaVale McGee added 16 and Danilo Gallinari had 15 for the Nuggets (4-4), whose 21 turnovers offset their 61.1 percent shooting (11 for 18) from 3-point range and 53.9 percent overall.

Kenneth Faried, who added 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Suns for his fourth consecutive double-double, has keyed a Nuggets squad that leads the NBA in rebounding at 51.0 per game and outrebounds opponents by more than eight per contest.

While containing the Heat will be a challenge, the Nuggets had held four consecutive opponents to fewer than 100 points in regulation before Monday. They also held three straight opponents under 40.0 percent before the Suns shot 45.7 percent.

"Defensively, we've been a lot better the last four games and we just had some mental lapses and coverages," Iguodala said.

The Nuggets will have to defend better than earlier this month when Allen had a go-ahead four-point play with 6.7 seconds left to give the Heat a 119-116 win in Miami on Nov. 3. Bosh had 40 points, Allen hit a season-high six 3-pointers and scored 23 while James finished one rebound shy of a triple-double.

Faried had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Nuggets, who lost despite outrebounding the Heat 47-32 and outscoring them 72-40 in the paint.

Gruesome road trip. Got starters banged up and don't want to sit out of pride and random records they chasing. :smh:

2 years ago ESPN would've spent 24-36 hours talking about changes Heat need to make, now .... it's like they don't care if you lose 20 games straight "we'll see you in the playoffs"

;)

Ray Allen looking like a happy warrior out there.

I expected the Heat to lose this one too but they holding up good so far

The sad truth is right there on the TV screen, I'm not gonna say no names but "somebody" should fall back till they are 100% or figure out their role on this team. :(

Wade is my dude but he been fucking up since late last year. Knee or no knee, he been making some questionable decisions that are beneath Superstar status IMHO.
Chalmers hurt, time for Cole to step up!

What happened to Chalmers? :(

League is so predictable and boring.
D Roseless Bulls....Boston looking decent...but dont really see any other candidates.
Early congrats on winning back to back titles.

What happened to Chalmers? :(

Some type of strain not sure if it was a shoulder or a bicep. Either way he aint coming back tonight. If Cole start fucking up then they probably run No PG offense.

How the hell Cole end up taking 3 straight shots when the Nuggets start closing in

danilo gallinari :smh:

2nd night in a row the Heat been bailed out by an airball in the closing minute

Cole with the dagger. Gallo WTF was that? Miami about to finally break that losing streak in Denver. Good game at the end though.
