1985 DRAFT IN REVIEW

The first lottery proved to be one of the best, with three future members of the original Dream Team (Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Karl Malone), quality All-Stars like Joe Dumars, championship role players like A.C. Green and Mario Elie, great durability (eight players with 1,000-plus career games) and the duo of Jon Koncak and Joe Kleine, the apparent inspiration for the movie "White Men Can't Jump." GRADE: A

Draft-day image: Do you believe in conspiracy theories?

Damn Rubio probably salty as hell right now. Minnesota here comes Rubio. Evans as the best PG 3 years from now :smh: He's not really a PG he just happens to be a ball dominant 2-Guard who needs to improve his jumper.

Basicallly...... da hell was Stuart smokin saying some crazy shit like that.

I'm wondering how he's gonna fit in with Kevin Martin, and are they givin up on Udrih that fast?

damn wolves got 4 first round picks?
i bet they pick some shitty players

im just sitting here ready to shit on the stupid move the Knicks will make.

My problem is how come Brandon Jennings is described as an AAU player, and Rubio is called the next Pistol Pete :hmm:

lol@ maybe the most talked about player.

yea yall hyping the great white hope.

good at least i know my team not gonna get him now.

1986 DRAFT IN REVIEW

Four of the top seven picks developed drug problems, the best player in the draft (Brad Daugherty) saw his career end at age 28 with back problems, and memorable flops like Kenny "Sky" Walker and Brad Sellers punctuated the list. The lone bright spot belonged to Cleveland, which picked three solid players in Daugherty, Ron Harper and Mark Price. GRADE: D-plus
How They Did It Then How They'd Do It Now
1. Brad Daugherty, North Carolina (Cavs) 1. Jeff Hornacek, Iowa State (46th, Suns)
2. Len Bias, Maryland (Celtics) 2. Dennis Rodman, SE Oklahoma St. (27th, Pistons)
3. Chris Washburn, N.C. State (Warriors) 3. Brad Daugherty

this muthafucka talkin about Rubio is the best passer in the last decade of the draft. tha fuck???

i think teams picking European players early in the draft is the equivalent of teams picking American high schoolers early in the draft.

Who have they really played against?

With the exception of People like Kobe, KG, Lebron.
its just to much of a gamble.

who is this rubio nigga?
looks like Ben Stillers son from meet the fookers.

2 potential problems with Minnesota taking Rubio:1)Taking a defensive liability at PG when you have no shot blockers on your team could be an issue. 2)Wonder if he gets pissed when Love and those outlet and inbound passes of his take away from Rubio's assist total.

And he goes from dealing with Spanish girls to the hot women of Minnesota.

they know this guy is not all that.

all they keep saying is that he is an extraordinary passer.
