Nothing's going wrong, 15 Day member? The conservative media is running at full speed to destroy Obama. Radio/TV/Print are all working in sync to delegitimize this President. Trust me, if he was doing well he wouldn't be appearing on the View, they would ask Biden or Hillary to go make an appearance. Hillary probably would turn em down though.

With Obama still being the most effective speaker for his initiatives and ideas, he has to go where the audiences will be and that includes "The View". That's the same reason he sat down with Bill O'Reilly and other talk shows over the course of his administration.

"The View" has a larger, more diverse audience than either one of them.

Shit, he's signed major legislative initiatives in the last two weeks but we're were inundated with the Sherrod distraction and this Wikilinks leak (while it has real news value, how does that affect the economy and jobs?)
Ideally, Hasselbeck takes the day off and they substitute her with a more savvy conservative that can really pepper Obama with questions....Laura Ingraham did "The View" a couple weeks ago...she'd be great...but I bet Obama would back out if that happened.

That's great, but does anyone know it or care? Of course not.

And rather than do that, he has more than enough time to go on a cheap daytime TV show like a two bit author or celebrity pushing some book or movie they're in.

Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter? Even rational GOP members don't take them seriously. Those two are walking republican talking point factories. And when confronted with the truth their arguments fall apart as dismally as those from most Republicans do.
Furthermore, they're successful because they never have to actually defend said talking points in the real world. They merely cater to a limited demographic that wants to hear their own biases and preconceptions repeated to them without being challenged.
And if such beliefs are challenged by someone who's highly intelligent, like President Obama before the GOP, they're shown for the logical fallacy filled arguments that they are.
