Obama should run as Independent

With all the distractions going on can someone answer my question. Why is Clinton who knows she has no chance of winning mathematically still in the race. I predict it will go down to super delegates at the convention who have a long history with both Bill and Hillary and will vote against the people's will and hand her the nomination. The media will report it as another one of her great comebacks. You can't tell me that as smart and politically savy as both Bill and Hillary are they don't know that they are not going to win mathematically. I think if Obama gets screwed at the convention he should denounce the Democratic Party and run as an Independent. He doesn't need the financial backing of the party and further more there would be so many pissed off people at both Hillary and the Republicans and vote for him. I really believe that this is what he will be headed for.

No the Superdelegates are turning away from the Clintons they know it the major News network exec's are supporting the battle because they sell NEWS and election coverage is the cheapest easiest NEWS to cover so they want to string it along as long as they can....PLUS they are mostly republican.

Obama is the democrats new blood and they love him, the problem is the Clintons where their new blood and they can't let go.

It's like when you have to tell an old champion he can't train at the GYM cause the young cats need the trainers more.....some go willingly and then some wanna get in the ring with the young cats and it's ugly:smh:

but in the end the old champ gotta go:yes:

Independent I don't think an independent could win against the republicans right now he'd have to be a movie star or something. Obama popular and hot right now but if he was an independent he'd already be out of the race.

:lol::lol::lol:No doubt! You hit it right on the head.

:smh:

I don't know what 'winning mathematicallly' means, but if you meaning without super delegates, then NEITHER Hillary nor Obama can do this. Both are going to have to rely on superdelegates to win the nomination.

A democrat running as an independent would only ensure the republican wins, just as huckabee running as an independent would ensure the democrat wins.

Quick....put the politics down cuz its clear you have no idea what you're talking about.

Um Pardon me, can I suggest one last thing...

My thinking is this, should something ridiculous like the super delegates determine that Obama is "not electable", or try to run some bullshit like "because clinton won big states, Michigan, Florida, California, and Ohio she is better prepared to win," hoping we won't remember that George W Bush won 3 of those 4 states in the general election, Obama should not run as an independent but he should mount a campaign that would run another candidate to replace those responsible for this bullshit.

What a fantastic idea, lets split the democratic vote right down the middle by having by both candidates running for president. This country has such a long history of electing 3rd party candidates.

I agree with Larrikin on this one. The Democratic vote will be too diluted.:smh::smh:

Reminds me of some High School Shit 3 black chicks runnin for Homecoming Queen but 1 white chick running for it, Separate the black votes, then McCain will win no doubt.

I want Obama to win, but I really dont want another Republican to win. So if Billary has to win it to keep McCain out, then so be it.

Obama for President; Hillary for VP; Bill to Co-sign shit

And thats is why he is president.

If, somehow, by a ,miracle of divine intervention th next president can win the general without ohio, I could see a this being ridiculous.

Frankly I dont trust california cause the hispanics will not support obama when it comes down to it. Then what happens when if he drops penn? He would have dropped all the big states.

I just dont want the fucking republicans to win and will support who the dems choose.

Why do I have a feeling who doesnt get the nom just might run as an indie, like that muthafucka joe lieberman did.

He is president because Kerry was an idiot. How the fuck could Kerry even attempt running for office half way a military man, and the other half an antiwar activist? Running a tape calling Viet Nam vets criminals and looking like a damn sellout to his country at a time of war? Come on man. Kerry should have beat Bush (almost did) and it's fucked up that people could see him as less credible than that stumbling, non speaking Bush.

I'm not worried about McCain as much as I'm concerned with billary. We survived Reagan, we've survived Bush, we'll survive McCain too.

The issue is if Obama should run as an independent. He won't keep the support he's captured from major democrats in the democrat party if he does that. Many supporters are with Obama because of support and comfort level with Ted Kennedy and others.

Plus that shit would alienate him from the party...and he is the heir apparent.
No need to fuck that the future over an independent run.
