there is pretty much no stripclubs in the bx..clubs been opening and closing all over nyc.. raids, mini shutdowns, spots getting fined, robberies, shootouts, etc..the money is temporary it is slowly drying up..the question is to u want big money fast or extended long money..if u into fast money yeah it looks nice but if u want a spot that u can have for decades and than pass it on to ur kids well that fast money not gonna make that happen..lets put it this way pretty much none of these clubs will last as long as the wedge..that's 4 decades worth of bread

- When I 1st went to a strip club in The Bronx, it was The Wedge.
- When The Golden Lady shut down, I was going to The Players Club.
- When The Players Club shut down, I was going to Sin City.
- When I saw how Sin City treated Black girls, I went to Crazy Horse. (Racist White manager with the ponytail).
- When Crazy Horse had too many shootings and shut down, I went to Sue's.
- When Sue's got boring and slow, I ended up back at The Wedge.

Right now Sue's & The Wedge are the only 2 spots I frequent that are worth a damn.

As a long time connoisseur; I too have noticed how the strip club game has been radically changed for the worse as a result of the "Make It Rain" crowd.
The other problem the "Make It Rain" crowd is that these fools only do this TO BE SEEN and to draw attention to THEMSELVES. These dumb shits actually WANT to be thought of as being important in a strip club.
And as you've already pointed out, the regular club strippers are often now way too spoiled, way too lazy and expect this kind of shit every night.
They've lost all sense of perspective and now fumble around looking for the next crew of young idiots to come in and pop bottles in the VIP area & make it rain on them.
Far too many new/younger strippers fall into the bad habit of believing these "young ballers/wanna-be rappers" are going to make them popular by making it rain on them every night, which is both wrong & stupid.
The smarter girls however; realize that the true money is in developing, cultivating & catering to your "regulars" who have regular jobs and who have that "steady money" that they earn on a weekly basis.

But unfortunately, in a world where a "man" like Travis Porter can make a stripper anthem & video called "Make It Rain" in which he PROUDLY admits to paying for pussy, I guess we can't really be all that surprised.

hey man i have an old school mentality about a lot of things and i refuse to change my ways to be accepted by modern times.. me keeping my old school mentality has work wonders for me in various diff things..the stripclub game is 1 of them..hell i'm looked at as breath of fresh air for a lot of dudes in there mid 30's and up..they be like yes, yes, u get it , i've been looking for somebody like u for yrs lmao..even some dancers are like that towards me..cause some like the mature crowd and not all that young dumb knucklehead shit..it's a win win for everybody..the mature crowd gets the entertainment without the bullshit and the dancers get the cool laid back grown dudes..and somewhere in there i get paid for linking the two..i always said sinve i was a young dude the two most important things in the game is the customer and the dancer..if ur connected to 1 or both u'll succeed in this game..if u have both those two everything else dosen't matter, hell the club ain't even neccessary cause u can always use other locations to combine the two..the dude crib, hotels, rental halls, lounges, lofts, etc

club 11 and even heat had potential..u don't have to go all out juss make it decent, comfortable, and have the laid back positive vibe in the atmosphere..i got people that can work wonders on a limited budget as far as the look is concern and make that shit look upscale with cheap additions/supplies..the look is never hard to make..the cliental and the dancers well that's another story..truss u could have consistant cliental comin thru if u marketed it rite..hell i been to the king of hole in the walls aka nj and seen them bring out a shitload of cliental... even they most popular clubs never looked like shit compared to ny spots yet they always was pack in certain spots
