28m ·Nurses are on strike at several Hospitals in NYC.
Remember who went to work during Covid day in and day out? I am so angry today bcs during Covid the city and the Governor wanted us to bang on pots and pans and blow our horns to show how we appreciated them. THAT'S FUCKING BS now is the time to pay them what they are owed and what they deserve and show us how they really are appreciated.
Nurses are the boots on the ground. Nurses care for our sick every single day and night they deserve a safe work environment their care for patients can not be doubled or tripled bcs the CEOs want and get massive raises for cutting the amount of health providers. The nurses health insurance must not be touched.
If you happen to travel by one of these picket lines stop by D & D and buy them several box of Joe's and say thank you. Stand with them for 15 or 20 min their fight is our fight.
Unions must stay strong.
