The animated movie stopped being automatic for a minute..

I saw that recently with The Last Dinosaur which was a PIXAR movie that "flopped" by their standards.

I think parents and kids getting smarter.

I aint heard no kids or their parents talking about Fernidad

but that Oscar had damn near Oscar level buzz for weeks.

And I'm elated. Not because I have anything against DC, but because people were going ape shit over WW; a mediocre movie at best. I see people talking about the battlefield scene being the 'moment of the year' and I'm like - WTF? Did we watch the same movie?

I would like DC to up their game so Marvel will up theirs. A rising tide lifts all boats. Steppenwolf. Puh-lez.

I take no joy in bashing DC

and see I dont want to bash wonder Woman.

Why can't women have THEIR superhero movie?

I'm SURE there is gonna be some white folks and tomcoonery on Black Panther being overrated and reverse racism bullsh*t

For many woman and girls and some MEN that battle field scene WAS the sh*t

That's fine.

Its for THEM.

and the movie was NOT bad.

My issue is the handling of the DCU overall in front of and behind the camera and the treatment of fans.

they have failed...

repeatedly and miserably and show no signs of course correcting based on the response from Justice League.

(which people have to STOP blaming Joss for, homeboy was brought in to do a DIFFICULT job because of a HORRENDOUS series of events)

I didn't think WW was "their" movie. I thought it was just a superhero movie first, then if you want to say a woman superhero for woman, that's fine.

But the movie was just okay. Nothing more. But because it got all these rave reviews I think people got carried away.

Anybody who thinks that WW battlefield scene was the shit has low standards for battle scenes. Compare it to any of the scenes from First Avenger, for instance. Not saying folks don't have a right to like what they like, I just think people got carried away.

You and I have agreed in elaborate detail on how DC has managed to mangle the DCEU concept.

And we've also pointed out (separately) that, indeed, Joss came in with damn near all principle photography in the can. So yeah, it's not his fault the movie was wack sauce.

where im at the 1015am show was packed:lol:. The theater i go primarily does reserved seating. That motha fucka has been packed since last thursday, every time slot and 3d viewing.
