Non Profit Foundation-Need help!!

SURE!!!!!!!!!!
1-Assisting women in shelters who are victims of domestic and sexual abuse-We help them by preparing their resumes for employment opportunity submittals. Then if the get an interview we: give them attire, do their hair and make up and offer transportation to and from the interview. We also prep them verbally for the interview.

2-We assist high school seniors who are victims of sexual or domestic abuse by sending them to the prom (depending on their academic achievements & essay on their future)We dress them, provide photography, transportation, hair and make up.

3-We go to the domestic abuse women shelters and provide free spa services to the ladies there and child care during the services..

My unit in my victimology class right now is about abuse and underreporting. If women had more opportunities like these to be helped while getting educated perhaps they wouldn't be so afraid to come forward to the police to stop their abuse.

Also I am not doing this for kudos, I swear I am not. I have been working on this concept for 2 years now I think. I am just a "not talk about it, but be about type of person".
I really want to reach out to victimized women and let them know, I truly care-other sisters truly care.

Who would want to do something like this? Usually someone with exceptional values, that's who.

I commented yesterday in the "Light Skin vs. Dark Skin" thread about helping our brothers and sisters when they are down. This idea goes way beyond anything even I had imagined. Baby IMO this idea without question places you in a category among some very great people.

Sad-I have to admit defeat. With all that is going on in my life, all I can really do now is get my board and foundation "established". I wont be able to actually do any activities until after the 1st of the year. Broken-but not defeated.

Just hang in there. Think of this as an opportunity rather than being defeated. (there's something far more important) This is nothing more than a minor setback. With all your involved with I questioned your timing myself. Again just hang in there until the time is right.
