Beyonce is the new Michael Jackson. That was one of best live performance by a female ever live streamed. The 1st half was somewhat sluggish, but the second half really picked up. Any band that hit some felt kuti one minute then some crucial conflict gets 5 stars.

You can't argue with that. I was having a discussion with my girl that Michael Jackson's voice was more Dynamic when he was a kid than when his voice matured, so to compensate he became a more Dynamic performer. As a performer Michael Jackson is the best I've seen (I didn't see the James Brown performances from the 60s, or the Nicholas Brothers performances from the 30s and 40s)

Rank them, Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce - and take emotions out of it.

Shit, I just put down 1.66 miles at 4am on the elliptical thanks to that performance

If we are talking consistent live performances of music, there are several performances far superior to Beyonce's typical canned performances. However, this performance for Beyonce at Coachella was outstanding and by her standard her best, it merely is a blimp to the live performances of Michael Jackson, Prince, George Clinton @ Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Bruce, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, James Brown, Felt Kuti. Remember, the icons had iconic tours, iconic performances that were no just mere dress up, but out of a necessity of expression. Technically speaking if you attended an HBCU, Beyonce show was pretty much by the numbers, I mean we all have heard Swag Surfin, seen drumline do those same routines 1000's of times, seen that same "greek" skit a million times. What is being more played up for Beyonce is the cultural relevance of her performance due to the resurgence of black pride for Beyonce and other like her. I mean she just remembered about 2/4 years ago she was from Houston. But let us not sit here and act like she Nina Simoned Coachella, because she had a typical HBCU drum theme, yet sang songs about absolutely nothing in regards to the black experience. Contrary to what people may think, white folks always hip to black culture they been stepping, drum lining, etc for a long time now. As the first black women to headline the event, It's almost cringe worthy to see her up there bitch this bitch that, suck my balls, at her age after opening with Negro Spiritual Anthem. The film doesn't lie, and Beyonce is the beneficiary of outstanding technology and production. Beyonce's impact on media however is similar to that of Michael Jackson. I would make the argument that Jimi Hendrix was the best performer of all time. Beyonce has her lane and she is great in that lane; an outstanding entertainer and great at playing dress up for whatever the season calls for.

Great performance, just watched it back

If Beyonce's boob came out, we won't see it, I'm sure she got pasties.. All that dancing, in heels, in those costumes, she has plenty of lines of defense between our eyes and her private parts.
