I'm just glad that bitch stopped looking like a Leroy Soup Nutz sex doll.

Why is Iggy even being discussed? She has one song-ONE!!! Lets bring this back up when she's hittin' Rihanna type singles. True she got Coon ass Tip behind her but he's not International.

2 songs Problem with Ariana Grande and Fancy. On pace to go triple platinum this year and do a Macklemore at the grammys, AMA's and Billboard awards. Not to mention Forbes crowned her the king of hip-hop last month

The promotion and marketing has just started. Most people think she's black, just wait.

I recall getting Eminem song in 97 with no picture my music director said never too hardcore battle rap, THEN the next single had his face on it...the GM said we will be playing it fuck what the MD says. Iggy will have the same effect ...just watch

I think Nicki will last longer, but let's not make her a saint. My ears are still bleeding from the Stupid Hoe song. Hopefully she has stopped being a clown for good.

Two No-Talent Bitches who just need to shut da fuck up and show the pussy and some head skills already.

Because that's practically all the talent either of them have.

Macklemore has talent. Also, Iggy's fake booty might put her as the same category as the Kardashians with white people. I don't see her lasting long.

Better career doing what, rapping or modeling? Both are rappers and models. Nicki might have more raw talent though since she can do more than just rap and look pretty.

Untill black folks own and control the music game that black folks let cac take. This type of stuff will keep happening!!

Nah man Nicki has real talent when she actually wants to showcase it.

What she's done isn't necessarily a reflection on what she can do

and that's her fault though

Sorry.

But...

:lol::lol::lol:

Nicki can rhyme...that isn't in question.

Dancing and singing?

not so much

But this new stripped down look she rocking is winning I think all that Malcom X backlash humbled her and it was good.

Nicki Minaj Is Not Beefing With Iggy Azalea

Today, Nicki responded to reports of her “beef” with Iggy from outlets like ABC, MTV, and Pitchfork on Twitter. The purpose of her speech, she said, was to celebrate women writers.

Iggy Azalea Claims Longest Hot 100 Reign For A Female Rapper With 'Fancy'

Iggy Azalea makes history on the Billboard Hot 100, as "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, rewrites the record for the longest-leading No. 1 by a female rapper. With a sixth week at the summit, she passes Lil' Kim, who spent five weeks at No. 1 with the all-star collaboration "Lady Marmalade" in 2001.

Meanwhile, MAGIC!'s "Rude" rises 3-2, Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" reaches No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart and teen Vine star Shawn Mendes debuts at No. 24 on the Hot 100 with his first single "Life of the Party."

It's Wednesday, so let's run down all the key numbers behind the Hot 100's top 10 and more.

With her sixth week at No. 1, Azalea now stands alone atop the exclusive list of female rappers who've spent the most time in the lead. Here's an updated look at the mere four such No. 1s, ranked by most weeks on top:

6 weeks, "Fancy," Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX, 2014
5 weeks, "Lady Marmalade," Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya and P!nk, 2001
2 weeks, "Doo Wop (That Thing)," Lauryn Hill, 1998
1 week, "Stand Up," Ludacris featuring Shawnna, 2003

"Fancy" continues its Hot 100 command with a third week at No. 1 on Radio Songs, although it decreases by 2 percent to 147 million in all-format audience, according to Nielsen BDS. It logs a seventh week at No. 1 on Streaming Songs, down by 5 percent to 11.1 million U.S. streams, according to BDS. On Digital Songs, "Fancy" drops 2-3 (after leading for four weeks until last week) with 178,000 downloads sold, down 9 percent, in the tracking week ending on June 29, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Fancy" crowns the sales/airplay/streaming-based Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts for a sixth and 11th week, respectively. It also tops the Songs of the Summer ranking for a fifth week, remaining the only song that has ruled since the chart returned after Memorial Day.

Below "Fancy" on the Hot 100, Canadian pop/reggae foursome MAGIC! pushes 3-2 with its debut hit "Rude," which gains in all three of the chart's metrics. It dips 1-2 after a week atop Digital Songs, but gains by less than 1 percent to 210,000. "Rude" rises 5-4 on Radio Songs (123 million, up 14 percent) and bullets for a second week at No. 4 on Streaming Songs (7.3 million, up 7 percent).

Could "Rude," well, rudely, dethrone "Fancy" before long? It looks possible, as "Fancy" deflates by 5 percent in overall Hot 100 points and "Rude" grows by 6 percent. The former leads this week with a 14 percent points lead over the latter.

With "Rude" moving into the Hot 100's runner-up spot, Ariana Grande's "Problem," featuring Azalea, drops 2-3 after five weeks at its No. 2 highpoint. Azalea, thus, relinquishes her lock on the chart's top two ranks after five weeks, leaving her in a tie with Ashanti for the longest such run by a woman; Ashanti locked up Nos. 1 and 2 from April 20 through May 18, 2002, with her own "Foolish" and as a guest on Fat Joe's "What's Luv?"

Azalea also keeps behind the Beatles among acts that have spent the most time at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 entries.
The Fab Four holds the record with 10 such weeks in a row in 1964.

Nick Young: Iggy Azaela Was Affected By BET Awards Backlash Caused By Nicki Minaj

nicki-iggy.png

here is no NBA basketball happening outside of unbearably unwatchable Summer League games so Los Angeles Lakers’ shooting guard Nick Young is now using his time to speak out for his girlfriend. In a recent interview, Young admits that Azaela was negatively affected by the backlash she received after Nicki Minaj’s acceptance speech at last month’s BET Awards.

During her acceptance speech after winning the Best Female Rapper award for the fifth straight year, Minaj remarked that “when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it” and thanked BET for honoring authenticity. While Azaela posted on her personal Instagram account that she was “unbothered by anything that happened at the BET Awards”, her boyfriend says different to New York Daily News:

I had to deal with the aftermath of all that. When she came home and was going through her phones, hearing everybody talking trash about her. I had to be there for her.
On July 2nd, Minaj posted on her personal Twitter account that she has “congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud.”
