He talked about how Nikki embraced a lot of Euro type shit; fake Euro accent, her appearance, video concepts, other weird Euro culture type shit, etc. etc. But then an actually White girl comes along, like Iggy, raps about some shit that u would probably hear Nikki rap about (whether she wrote it or not) and she basically blew up overnight.

I've seen it and since the criticism of female rappers has always been that they don't write their own verses, even when they do, she might as well had been throwing a shot at any female emcee but the only one that gets clicks is Iggy.
What we should have been learned from the last 100 years of the recorded music industry, is that blacks create and dominate in music UNTIL there is a white replacement.
This shit has been going on since The Original Dixieland Jass Band. The first music recording EVER MADE back in 1917 was some whiteboys ripping of black music and reaping the benefits. Elvis wasn't the first.
The Dilemma of Black Folks? We are amused when white people do well at imitating us because it gives us a feeling of validation and soothes our collective low self esteem. We really fall for this fuckery every single time only to find later that it was all exploitation.

I listened to most of Iggy's CD and it's a karaoke collage of Nas, Rakim, LL Cool J, Fresh Prince lyrics with some nursery rhymes mixed in. She says on Fancy "rooftop like were bringing 88 back" (Nas Made You Look) but she wasn't born by 88 and a white co-worker said she's dope for saying that?
