No with Brown trust it was ALL about the money. Did you see that ridiculous ass press conference? If the Steelers can find a collective group of productive guys that can get it done without the drama and headaches I'll say it was worth it. Only time will tell. Bell won't be running behind DeCastro, Foster and Pouncey so we'll see how it all plays out

Truth

Btw, cuz i hope you know i aint hating on Steelers

Cause my squad is in some bullsh*t

Im about done.

Im officially in giants rehab

Im off this narcotic

@meilmarc --- Fam.. Thoughts on this?

He is a huge upgrade over Gabbert... and we really didn't give up that much...

But ...

I still need another gawd damn Defense End and a defensive tackle..

We also need a new guard now..

but this move... is purely

Mariota insurance.... Now and next year..

Shit ill take a serviceable backup, cause casell and gabbert were stealing checks. The draft is stacked with edge rushers and dline so we can get both. Probably get a guard and center to develop this year then stsrt in 2020. Kline was the worst oline starter and i was glad he got his papers

You do know this is ryan tannihill right?

RYAN?

I don't need the man to Start... I just need a dude that can run a similar scheme.

I would have preferred Tyrod Taylor but I'm good with this....

Believe me......

This is a huge upgrade over what we use to have behind Marcus.

Oh no I know your not hating. I understand how it looks on paper. Gotta see how teams do in the draft and free agency isn't over yet. Superbowls aren't won in March, so everybody needs to just calm down a bit.

""The [average per year] was fine. The three-year cash flow is fine. But you’ve got to give me some middle ground," Bell said. "[The Steelers] tried to give me no leeway on that, take it or leave it ... At the end of the day, I wanted to go where it would make me happy and have the guaranteed money, no matter what happens to me. I’ve seen what happened to [Steelers linebacker] Ryan Shazier [who might never play again after missing most of the past two seasons with a spinal injury], and I’ve seen that with my own eyes. I have to protect myself. The owners are protecting themselves, I have to do the same thing. Any other team and it would have been entirely fine. But the way [the Steelers] structure it and the way I am, I simply can’t rock with it. The way the Rams did it [with Todd Gurley's contract] was perfect, Cardinals with David Johnson, Zeke [Elliott] will probably kill."

Its astounding seeing all the talking heads say he made a bad decision sitting out. His goals were to not add another 400 carries, get as much guaranteed as possible and not get hurt before getting that guaranteed money. Mission accomplished.

To see ex players say he lost 14 million and clowns like Stephen A say he lost because he didnt "reset the market" like he wanted is hilarious.

Source: QB Fitzpatrick agrees to Dolphins deal

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on a two-year contract, a source told ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the $11 million contract contains incentives that could boost the deal to between $17 million and $20 million.

Fitzpatrick could fill the opening starting quarterback role that was vacated when the Dolphins traded Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans on Friday.

Prior to Fitzpatrick's addition, the Dolphins had just two quarterbacks on their roster: Jake Rudock and Luke Falk. Neither has started an NFL game, and they have combined for five career passing attempts.

Miami is expected to continue its search for a franchise quarterback in the NFL draft -- in 2019 or 2020.

Fitzpatrick, 36, stepped in for the suspended Jameis Winston in Weeks 1-3 last season and led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to upset wins over the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles. He became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 400 yards in three consecutive games and led the NFL with 1,230 passing yards in that span.

He would step in for Winston again in 2018 when the former No. 1 overall pick was benched. Fitzpatrick played in eight games with seven starts, finishing with 17 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and completing 66.7 percent of his passes -- the highest completion percentage of his career.

Fitzpatrick's greatest issue is stringing consistent games together over long stretches of time, as he struggled with interceptions when former Bucs coach Dirk Koetter moved him into a starting role.

Fitzpatrick, who has also played for the Rams, Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans and Jets, has thrown for 29,357 yards with 190 touchdowns and 148 interceptions in 141 games. He could become the first player to throw passes for first NFL teams, breaking a tie with six other players, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

He also becomes the second owner of the "FitzMagic" nickname on the Dolphins roster. In September 2018, defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrickfiled a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to own the nickname in hopes of selling merchandise and apparel.

Minkah Fitzpatrick, who said he had the nickname since high school, had his trademark request denied in January.

The heck.

THe eagles got Jordan Howard for a conditional 2020 pick

What the fuck is going on.

Dude was still on his rookie deal

Fuck yeah!!
I been waiting for this...Howies done a masterful job at plugging up holes before the draft and not having to sacrifice lots of cap space or comp picks to do it..

Now we can operate from a position of strength and go BPA in the draft..i wasnt a fan of taking a RB in the first rd
