NFL Free Agency 2016....

And,yet he hasn't done shit in his career.

He had the opportunity to take his team to the playoff, but couldn't because he three interception in the last game of the season, all being in the fourth quarter.

Agreed but I've watched him play alot in the division and by far last season was his best. Besides who else is out there that really good just waiting in FA? Kap? RG3? Also, it's not to say ya'll shouldn't draft a Qb or anything. He would just be a stop gap.

Curious what's the deal with CJ? I don't understand why he's a FA and pretty much unless ya'll match will be a Dolphin in 5 days?

I think Elway really doesn't want Fitzpatrick, because every since he came back to become the GM,he's been preaching the organization are after Superbowl's.

Fitzpatrick maybe solid, but he doesn't have what it takes to go to the playoffs let alone win a Superbowl.

As,for CJ...the NFL Network been flashing on the TV screen, for over an hour that the Broncos are going to match the Dolphins offer...I guess, they're not reporting it ,since it hasn't happen, yet :dunno:

Wow..he got smoked last year...
Yeah I would still draft Jack and worry about positions later

Still starting Lee, McClain, and Jack fuck it up McClain big ass on the strong side

Between him and Lee you know they are going to miss time anyway that will work itself out

And you know Rod loves those overachievers

Fuck all that put some talent on that line

If nobody wants Hardy he might end up back even though Garrett wants nothing to do with his ass

On the offensive side, I also think it's time to look for a replacement for Jason Witten. Granted thats not the BIGGEST need right now, but we need to start grooming someone in that role. We also need to Sign Arian Foster...Keep McFadden..and then draft a running back in a later round. You know have no idea how much we setback our QB timetable when drafting Stephen McGee..good gracious.

Man they better not draft no damn tight end

If they looking for his replacement better sign a free agent or make it work with Escobar or Hanna fuck that

No more wasted picks on tight ends enough is enough

Man...my blood almost started boiling just thinking about that

Anyway we DO need to upgrade Terrence Williams in the draft

He doesn't deserve a second contract

If the Broncos get Kap, I'll be trading both D Thomas and E Sanders off my Fantasy teams.
Having that Hybrid RB/TE as their QB is about to keep their stats line looking "up and down" like they were last year.
Signing Kap aint a improving that passing game much more than it was last year.
Rushing attack....yea...but passing :smh:

They better make sure that Defense stays a top 5 defense..or theyre gonna be in trouble.

They have holes but they're not huge, every media person in Dallas has been saying they weren't going to be big players in FA. They're going to fill these holes in the draft. The Giants moves look good on paper, but they've possibly handicapped their team for the next 3-5 years.

As a Redskins fan I know all too well that free agency spending sprees don't equate to winning seasons. Glad we are out of that mentality.

Escobar aint the answer. Hanna may be, but I need to see more from him. Whats the matter? You didn't like David LaFleur?? LOL

Escobar is getting the Bennett treatment. We've seen Gavin make plays for us, but we're led to believe he's not the answer because Garrett still doesn't know how to use TEs.

Wow are they really trying to compare Tim Tebow to Colin Rand Kaepernick?

Someone retweet clown as ask if Tebow lead his team to the SB and finals 2 years in a row in the NFL...

The hate for Kap and RG3 it feels like a 70/30, who doesn't want neither on the team, but want Fitzpatrick,Tebow or Manziel on the team..Shit makes no sense to me :smh:

Cowboys don't need no tight end. Not for this offense. What we got is find. If you want to move on from Witten that's fine but you got 3 other niggas on the roster. You good at funky ass tight end.

Kap don't want to play for Browns. I get why. He thinks because they trash they are going to be more patient with him than they would in Denver or some shit but man he don't want that. They trash.

agreed. Our GM has a track record of building rosters. We gonna load up in this draft.

Yup...but they don't know bruh.

You niggas ain't gonna do shit but suck

The east will be between Washington and Dallas. Philly is rebuilding again and Giants either win it all or suck.

They talking bout Kap want to go to Cleveland and play for hue Jackson
If Kap actually WANTS to play in Cleveland :smh: then im sure they will make it happen somehow.

Cleveland would have to give up pieces to get Kap... Good thing with RG he can sign wherever

I'm hearing the Browns offered a 3rd round pick + swap 1st round spots with the 49ers, in exchange for Kaepernick
Not a bad deal, I would pull the trigger

:cool::cool::cool:

As long as Jason Witten is on this roster and breathing no other tight end will be getting any shine

So it's a waste to use a pick at that position

Period

Definitely. The Chargers were in a similar situation. Their backup just signed with Pitt I believe. Can't cut a homegrown legend. Just have to ride it out.

If you had the luxury of getting somebody late, do it. But good luck finding a sleeper TE.

As long as Witten is on the field Romo or any other QB for that matter is checking for him first

And for good reason, he will always be where he is supposed to be and he will always catch the damn ball.....but there will be NO yards after the catch

Same deal in San Diego. Rivers checking for Gates first.

Pointless to have some up and coming tight end behind those dudes.

Waste of a draft pick especially Witten because he never misses games

Browns make it official, waive Johnny Manziel

The Browns made it official Friday with a 117-word press release, or one per headache Johnny Manziel caused them.

The team announced they had waived Manziel, which everyone knew was coming from the time they washed their hands of him the week of the Super Bowl.

The release was straightforward, with no quotes from anyone involved with the team, mentioning only his stats, and those left behind on the quarterback depth chart.

At the moment, that includes Josh McCown, Austin Davis and Connor Shaw, though more are doubtless coming soon.

They did not specify in the release whether they retained the rights to the homeless guy who advised owner Jimmy Haslam to use a first-round pick on Manziel two years

Jags line up visit with Prince Amukamara

It looks like defensive end Robert Ayers won’t be the only member of the 2015 Giants defense paying the Jaguars a visit in the early days of free agency.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the team will also be hosting cornerback Prince Amukamara. Amukamara, a 2011 first-round pick, has played for the Giants for his entire five-year NFL career.

Amukamara, who is No. 46 on PFT’s list of the top free agents, has done a solid job for most of that time when he’s been healthy, but he hasn’t been healthy enough over the last two seasons. He tore his bicep in 2014 and had a pectoral injury in 2015, limiting him to 18 games in total over the two years.

The Jaguars have Aaron Colvin, Davon House and Dwayne Gratz as their top three corners, which doesn’t make for a particularly imposing group. That could be enough for the Jaguars to bet that Amukamara can spend less time in the trainer’s room as they try to upgrade their defense in coach Gus Bradley’s fourth year at the helm.

Jags talking with Robert Ayers, visit reportedly set

The Jaguars lost out to the Giants in the bidding for defensive end Olivier Vernon, which means they’ll have to look in other directions for more help on the defensive line after signing Malik Jackson to kick off the new league year.

One player that has caught their eye is someone who Vernon will likely be replacing in the Giants’ starting lineup. On Thursday, Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell said, via Mark Long of the Associated Press, that the team has been in contact with defensive end Robert Ayers‘ camp but that a visit hasn’t been set up at this time.

They must have liked what the Jags had to say because something appears to have changed since Caldwell said that. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Ayers will now visit the Jaguars rather than the Dolphins after wrapping up a visit with the Buccaneers.

A related note: Ayers should probably go ahead and start forwarding his mail to Florida.

Caldwell also discussed the team’s pursuit of Vernon. In a report of the Vernon chase by Peter King of TheMMQB.com, Vernon’s agent David Canter said the Jags “were moving mountains to try to make this work” but that their best offer ultimately didn’t match what the Giants were putting on the table.

Caldwell said “we were far out of our comfort zone” while trying to land Vernon, something that probably won’t be the case in any discussions with Ayers.

What's going on with the Brent Grimes situation? Why us he being blackballed from the league?

I know very little about his wife and did listen to her interview on Taxstone's podcast, but aside from that, I see no reason why he shouldn't be picked up by a team. I heard that 3 GMS are avoiding him because of his wife's behavior.

Man it's only been a couple of days, lol. And he just got picked up by the Bucs. Calm down and tell him to tell his wife to cut-it-out.:smh:

No doubt he will be picked up by a team. However, It's won't be as a #1 he's definitely at that #2/#3 catergory. That's factual Brent Grimes is starting to lose a step or 2. Now, the thing with his wife is making teams a little weary of signing him. Succintly, every organization that he has played for Atlanta and previously Miami has come under criticism by his wife(who knows possibly echoing his thoughts). Clearly, nothing wrong with criticism but when you take it to social, radio and even TV calling management, other players, players spoused etc. Hoes and bitches and cCrackers etc...Yeah that might be crossing the line and not too many organizations are willing or wanting to deal with that.
