Pap, he missed the point of the Kendrick verse. in turn, it made his reply totally off base and seem more personal than anything.
I totally understand taking it personal, but let your talent speak instead of going for the shock factor every third or fourth bar.
to me, Ortiz verse was perfectly crafted and delivered. He jabbed at Kendrick, he spit a HOT verse, he incorporated some of the things Kendrick said in the original verse (transformers line, raising the bar), and his delivery had the same "flow" and feel as did Kendrick's in the sense that you'd think it was a Ortiz joint if you had heard his verse first. It felt natural...not forced.
These two verses, the two Kendrick and Ortiz spit, THAT'S why i love hip hop! It's not dead man....it's not dead

I still like Madd Rappers the best. He didn't just focus on Kendrick like Pap or Joel & was taking shots at everyone. Which I feel a true mc is suppose to do in this situation.
