New Study: Intermittent Fasting Does Nothing

For me it's made a difference. I fast from 2pm - 6am. I feel more energized and according to some stuff I read it allows the body time to rejuvenate cells and repair DNA. Everyone is different. I've learned that I had to basically be my own lab rat to find out what worked for me. All i know is I feel better since allowing my body time to properly digest my food and repair itself.

Prolong fasting (24+ hours) is the way to go.
There are many studies showing the positive affects on the body.
Agreed. I try to do a 30 day water fast once a year and shorter fast throughout the year. Last 2 years I fell off and overall health took a hit. It is not just the fast, it is the discipline that comes along with it.

I eat only one meal a day in conjunction with a Keto diet. I've gone down two sizes since starting over 3 months ago. My clothes feel so big on me when I wear them. Those hunger cravings are gone.

Who says that it doesn't work.

These crackers dont want you to be disciplined.

I.F. worked for me. and it helped me get my life on a schedule. It works

Not only does it work, it promotes autophagy, which induces collagen production. A bunch of health benefits come with fasting, including appetite control.

Of course fasting doesn't work for weight loss if you binge eat after the fast, duh! Cacs need to keep selling bandaids instead of selling cures.

Yep same here. Started out at 177lbs in Mid March and now I'm at 155lbs but I still kept my muscle mass and strength (way more ripped especially around my mid section).

Basically I do Keto (more dirty Keto) and only eat between 2:30pm and 8:30pm (2 meals high in fat and green vegetables). Also I drink a protein shake (no carbs or sugars) after I workout.

I drink lemon juice in the morning (raw with the peel) and also I drink potassium and magnesium.

Workout 6 days a week. And cardio 4 days. For my pre-workout I take Nitric Oxide. Use to drink an energy drink with no carbs or sugars but I like the nitric oxide better.

But like someone said. It's basically calories in vs calories out. The issue is when you cut calories you also "cut" your energy levels. The Keto with IF helps keep your energy levels up especially if you bust your ass in the gym... it's a difference between losing weight and body transformation.

Like everything, the body adapts. These studies don't cover a wide enough basis imo. There are so many variables, work schedule, stress levels, genetics, etc
I do IF and love it

PREScience High Volume Supreme Nitric Oxide Matrix... blue frost flavor

I just started taking it about 2 weeks but it seems like it does what it is supposed to do. I feel a good pump before and after my workouts.
How's do you feel after a workout? Does it help with metabolism?

That all depends. I do fasted workouts in the morning (when I can) and have plenty of energy. Each person will be different. As I said previously taking it slow and letting your body adjust accordingly will more than likely lead to better results. Crash dieting/fasting is like a heroine addict going cold turkey.

Body feels good.

Energy levels are good as well, even before I started taking the supplement though, probably because of the change in my nutrition.
Let me ask you a question. Have you been checked to see if you actually even need supplements?

Most people don’t and take that shit for no reason. Only if you have a deficiency and your body is not getting enough Of a certain vitamin etc. people be wasting money taking shit and potentially harming themselves for no reason.

No. And the average person never will. Depending on your fitness goal will determine the amount and kind of supplements you may want or need.

Your fitness goals don't determine if you need to take supplements or not. The basic thing you need (unless you've been tested and found to have deficiencies) is water with some added electrolytes for hydration.

As has been stated. Adding supplements you don't need can do more harm than good.
People are destroying their liver, kidneys, etc... with placebo effect results.

I'm not a body builder or doctor but just talking with bodybuilders and I my own doctor, if you can't get what you need from food then you will have to supplement.

An example may be protein. Or your energy levels are low for some reason, etc...

Depending on your lifestyle and yes your fitness goal(s) you may have to supplement from time to time.
