Man sadly I agree... He was too good. I think this is what the show runners wanted since the beginning but I don't think that expected Jamaal to be that good of a character.

If the show is cancelled I would be 100% behind a prequel show that was focused on Jamaal. Especially since you saw that he was the quiet son in the beginning.
