Why can't a black man have more than one lane? We are not a monolithic group with linear tastes, interest and styles.. Personally I have all sorts of music influences most musicians do, so I can relate to the Kid.... He's got other songs that are rock-ish, he just went more hardcore on this one.



I used to say "fuck a lane, why not be a UFO?"

I like the song that was posted by the OP. I'm bringing up race because of the excessive unseen social pressures placed upon black people in society to be "easily definable". Being easily definable is synonymous with being so called "safe" to the powers that be in our society. It's about having different tastes, experiences and being so called black and that being just fine or OK. That song isn't bad to me, my only complaint is about the cymbals in the mix, but thats just me being anal. SO yeah, I like it a lot, you don't. I hope we can just agree to disagree.
