It wasn't Eli's fault this time. After they got the 11 point lead the coaching was horrible. They took their foot off NE neck and they paid for it. They didn't even throw downfield after the first drive. And why would you let Moss take advantage of that boy after you see he was wide open on the previous play.
Any qb would win most of their starts if they know what side the blitz is coming from before the play starts.

No one "allowed" anything. Brady made a great "read" on a play that was intended underneath for Welker. The Giants brought the safety up to work a trap on Welker, which Brady quickly "read" and allowed him to go to his second option, Moss, whom he knew was now free down the sideline. That's why some QBs are GREAT and others aren't.
(BTW, that TD play was TOTALLY different from the play immediately before it, where Brady underthrew Moss going deep. Moss wasn't the #1 receiver on the TD.)

To me the best thing about this is those grumpy old men down in Miami have to shut up. I know the Pats will "need" to win the Super Bowl to end at the top, but this is a major accomplishment. If/when they win it all we might not have to hear jackasses like Mercury Morris talk shit anymore. Honestly the '72 Dolphins are the reason I want to see the Pats go 19-0.
