Just like Portland and Oklahoma City are. Are they a threat to win titles?

I've been hearing the Knicks are going to be a force for like 20 years. You still don't play any defense, you gutted your entire team, you have a 5 minute player for the Lakers as your starting center, you don't know how the new CBA will effect things and your entire hope know lies on landing a PG with degenerative knees.

The Knicks should have wanted to be the Lakers or Celtics, they would have more than one ring

and ur bulls have done what since jordan left? they offer memphis 2nd rounders for mayo then pull back b/c he will put them over the lux tax...they want dude from houston b/c he's a cheap option....the bulls coulda had melo and last week said no to re-entering trade talks for him b/c it'll put them over the lux tax...

the knicks have been mismanaged for a while everyone knew it. yes we traded our starting lineup minus amar'e...and? we got a superstar in return... do i like the deal? no but it had to happen.

can we get a 3rd star? yup. the cap isn't gonna drop but contracts will roll back. the nba isn't gonna fuck themselves by lowering the cap and stopping player movement. the players rn't asking for a lower cap and the owners rn't requesting it. so where do u get the cap is gonna drop?

next season the knicks have a young center overseas right now who will be on the team and making only 500k for 2-3 yrs. we'll still have billups and his expiring deal and ppl keep forgetting the gm of the hornets owes his job to the knicks as he was our former assistant gm... and the nba owns the hornets... do i want paul? no his knees worry me but we'll have a choice between paul and williams regardless.

the knicks sucked for 10 yrs but within 11 yrs in our 1st true rebuild we got 2 stars. the bulls since jordan have rebuilt 3 times and won't pay or make a big trade for top stars unless they draft them.

jordan is not walking into the united center and suiting up... y'all bulls fans keep harping on the past yet u've done nothing but be overhyped for the post-jordan years and constantly rebuilding b/c of ur cheap owner.

lets not forget we knicks swept the bulls with our "no defense" while your "defensive stud of a team" got lit up for 16 3's at home by us.

I don't know about that. The West still has better teams than the East. The East just got 2 more stars but the West rosters didn't get weaker. I don't think so anyway. Nuggets got 3 more starters in this league and the Jazz added two more players to their rotation while subtracting one. He wants to make the nets the better nets. NY claims to be the best city in the world. Depending on who you ask alot people agree with that than disagree. He is taking his franchise to New York so if Dwight or anybody else want to play in NY or LA he will be in NY too. What's wrong with them trying to top the Knicks. If they come close, even, or better one day that is a good thing for the Nets franchise.

You look at the Baltimore Ravens they run their franchise like the Steelers do and they are slowly becoming a franchise that people say is run well and want to play for. That is what the Nets want to accomplish. They want to be in the class of the Knicks not the Clippers. The Mavs are who they will be in the short term if they can get a few more players to buy into the owner.

Favors will not be in the class of Deron Williams his entire career IMO. The NBA is a business and he wasn't playing much any way in NJ maybe in Utah he can turn into a good player. D Will is a superstar Favors isn't and probably never will so no harm no foul.
