Netflix Discussion Thread: Iron Fist (New Trailer!)

Fist effects look low budget as fuck.
I'm in just all pieces of the puzzle for the defenders that's going to come out.
I didn't like the trailer but I like the main actor.
I didn't like the bad guy but the Chinese chick is cute as hell.
I didn't like the music at all but the cinematography looks good.
It feels like a small budget but the scale of the sceneray looks good.
This is a mixed bag for me. I like Iron Fist too so I will be there front and center.

Tell you the truth I was hoping to see the flaming fist of energy too but this is more practical and it makes more sense. The inner chi. The energy within. It binds and protects his fist, the muscles, the veins, the bones and sends an absorbing field around the rest of his body so he can withstand the force of the energy he is putting out.
Give it a chance bruh, I think they did it right.
Trying to cement this thing in Daredevil's world. These are folks that only seem to use their abilities in the dark. Plus it makes for a good contrast to the Marvel films.

James Lew and sweet stunt team was not invited back so we did not work iron fist only season 1 and 2 of luke cage so I doubt it

Playa I disagree - but I am seeing the bigger picture and how it leads to the Defenders - is it how i would do the series no - would Finn Jones be my first choice - Hell No but I am living in an age when Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist are in live action shows and they are not 90s dreck but fun and interesting shows. The only thing I would do is reduce the number of episodes to 10 - I think with 13 they pad it across the board. Even GoT is only 10.
Up to episode 6. Gets better in each episode. It's not putting me to sleep like Jessica Jones. I like it so far.
