NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

He would go down to the G league..we really dont have any room for him right now. There's also a report out there that we are still trying to get Markannen..:dunno:
Gelo will at worst sign a 2 way contract. Based on his performance, crowd excitement, and basketball IQ he will be on their roster. Doubters keep doubting and the Ball boys keep making them look foolish. Black father for the win.

@spider705

Yeah the Rockets made the right choice with Jalen Green and I initially wanted them to pick Mobley. Green has that star factor, Mobley will probably be solid but he needs to bulk up and work on his shooting.
Yeah man it's not that I'm not a fan of Mobley it's just that the top 2 (Cunningham and Green) were that much better prospects than Mobley so you had to take one of them if available. Plus don't forget Green went to the D- LEAGUE and played against MEN at and at 19 was averaging damn near 20 a game. The kid is special... we got lucky and got a good one

Plus all our rookies played good... Christopher and that Sengun put up numbers.... hell you could argue the Turkish kid outplayed Mobley with his 15/15 double double. He's smart makes good passes and if he gets it in the post he's getting a foul a bucket or a good shot up... I'm looking at him to play some minutes next to Wood in their smaller lineups and he'll produce

And KJ man that kid if he knocks down that 3 with some consistency he'll be good... that block on Mobley was filthy

Those guys were football players hooping. Football takes more than size and speed. Gelo is a bucket. There is always room for a bucket.

Gates didn't play a down of football in college.

Graham played a season in Miami after realizing he wouldn't make the NBA after playing four years of college bball.

Gonzalez wanted to play the NBA but realized he wasn't good enough to make it and transited.

Gelo can score but there are plenty of players who can put up buckets and don't make the league. It's politics to the shit and Gelo gotta daddy these teams hate and a game that's not so well rounded. He's gotta focus on defense along with hitting from distance to catch a role on one of these teams. It ain't as simple as him being a bucket.

Antonio Gates
Tony Gonzalez
Jimmy Graham
Martellus Bennett
Vincent Jackson

All good to solid college basketball players who went to the NFL and dominated. Gelo I feel with his size and athleticism would make a bigger impact on the field than the court but we'll see if he finds a spot with Charlotte. His little brother has the pull to make it happen

another future hall of fame hooping, and another derailed by injuries who's he QB's coach at New Orleans

You are missing my point entirely. Football player's mentality is completely different than a basketball mentality. Football players run track hoop, and play baseball but that doesn't stop them from being Football players from an approach or mentality. Gelo is a hooper.

And your missing my point. A talented basketball player will always dominate a football field if he makes his mind up that he wants to play football. If Gelo decided he wanted to play football he could make it further than playing basketball.

The only dude I could think of who didn't make the NFL (and only due to racism) and joined the NBA instead would be Charlie Ward.. but how many college basketball players couldn't make the NBA and dominated in the NFL?

“In all fairness Chuck is right. Lebron didn’t get drafted to a team with Shaq like Kobe. Cavs never found the Pippen in Bron’s first 8 years because he was too good they never drafted that high. Ps… Charles got drafted to a team with Dr.J, Moses Malone and 2 other Hall of Famers. I see his point though.”
