The Stephen Curry Golden State Warriors HAVE TO make the playoffs.

I won't go as far as to say it'll invalidate his career or his championships if he doesn't, but for a player that's considered a top 20 - 30 all time to be unable to lead his team to the playoffs (a 7 or 8 seed at minimum) without the help of other all star caliber players is not a good look.

I hope he can do it. I'm pulling for the kid to make it happen.

Nah. Creating "new" ways to critique ball players is a NEW thing. Like that dumb ass statistic where they say LeBron scored 10pts in 1000 games. What kind of gay ass shit is that? As if he needed THAT statistic to help his legend. Bird is Bird without the playoffs. Erving is Erving. Magic is Magic. KD is KD. We can go on and on because the fact is if GS doesn't make the playoffs this year it sure as hell won't be because of Curry's play.

I'm not creating anything. I said as much in my OP.

It doesn't invalidate his career or the MVP or championships, it's just not a good look.

I don't see why Curry fans shouldn't expect this or why Warriors fans are already making excuses for why they won't make the playoffs. A two time MVP still in his prime who just dropped 62 last night should be expected to get his team to a playoff spot.

Imagine any of the other recent MVPs not getting their team to the playoffs. I'm sure people wouldn't be making a bunch of excuses for them.

A Bulls-Warriors trade will need a third partner. The reason being is that the Bulls will be left with 4 wing players if they traded for Wiggins. The Bulls new management is vested in rookie Patrick Williams who is their only guy. The rest of the team Donavan and management inherited. Also the Bulls still looking at Otto Porter and Chandler Hutchinson. If Oladipo could come to the Bulls and they give up Lavine, I would be cool with that.

I would have disagreed with you over a while ago but it has become clear that the NBA is full of salty folks. Getting back is an understatement. You would have thought, with all the money GS had, location and existing players a lot of veterans would have been beating down the doors to join. Instead, many opted for less money playing on teams that are about as close to a ring as the Earth is to Pluto. I was literally like who the fuck is representing these players?

I don't get it. Nothing you do today will make those ass kickings and embarrassment go away. There ain't no get back.
 
Hey. Am I the only one who thinks KD is going to jump of the Brooklyn bridge after this year is over. THAT shit needs to really turn around because his departure from GS was idiotic. The equivalent of rejecting an all spade hand. The only person I could see doing such a thing is KD. Ask yourself this question. If LeBron had a team that was arguably one of the top two teams EVER would he even THINK about going somewhere else? Fuck no. LeBron is all about the winning. What professional athlete who's worth a damn ISN'T? Answer? KD. (lol)
