What's wrong with trading Al Hortford and Josh Richardson for Seth Curry and Danny Green?

Al Hortford was a top 10 center before he got to Philly and Richardson was good enough to trade Jimmy Butler for. Turned Jimmy Butler into Seth Curry......


I get getting Seth Curry. They could've got Seth Curry or a player of his caliber for far less.

And Danny Green is useless. He sucks on defense and he's a 3 point shooter who can't shoot 3's in the playoffs.

I got clowned a few months back for bringing it up here but today online a lot of folks are talking about the large number of biracial players or ones with a white spouse that were drafted last night. Its hard not to notice it. Steph and Klay really did change the game and exclusively demonizing the Bron's, Harden's, etc the last decade is starting to pay off. More good guys are being drafted to save the league.

Hortford to Philly was a chess move to avoid going against Hortford (because he played Embiid well) and to give Embiid an insurance policy for when he gassed or injured. It didnt work. So instead of sitting on the bad deal you move on and try to salvage best way you can. They need shooters. And yes, Green sucks, but he is still a decent defender and still can spread the floor with the threat of his shot. He and Seth go along way of replacing that JJ Redick component Philly missed dearly this season.

Houston has been VERY CLEAR about what they want, and that's an Anthony Davis type haul (or better) in return for any trade involving James Harden

So they're just gonna ship him to Brooklyn and get picks and role players in return?? Nah... they said straight up we'll go into training camp with pissed off superstars rather than mortgaging their future on 3 cases of flaming hot cheetos and a few bench warmers
 
I don't know about the Shelia Jackson Lee thing, but I do know that not only did Tilman donate to trump and Republicans he also spoke in opposition to trump as the play in the bubble kicked off, he did donate some money to the Biden campaign, and he's hosted fundraisers for both Democrats and Republicans in the past.

At any rate his history brands him a few thinker or someone that goes with whoever benefits him.

Either way, I doubt it's ever been about his support for Trump. It's Harden seeing Davis winning in LA after toiling away in NOLA, and KD getting in his ear telling him to get his ring and fuck everything else.

Remember, Harden wore a "thin blue line" face shield in the bubble because he "thought it looked cool."

 
And for that other comment, about it not having anything to do with basketball and the streets knowing what's up, that's new to me.... if it's some fuckery afoot I know it'll come out soon enough

That Mason Jones cat might be a steal

He has nba range, plays under control, attacks the basket and is strong enough to finish through contact. Not super athletic, but he finishes at the rim with consistency.
