"Team Light Skin" likes KD for being such a lowkey coon, having a white agent, and not having a Black family. He also never plays for Black coaches. Hes not married, no kids, so his dark skin is more tolerable than if we gotta see him promoting a Black family of dark skin people and Black American wife like LeBron. Ewwww.
I seen someone bump an old member's thread and was just thinking bout all the "Jordan is the GOAT" stans that have withered away from this thread over the years. It used to be 30-40 dickriders strong actively posting in here. And during the Dubs reign there was a short lived resurgance. But now many either dont post in here at all, or left the board completely

I agree with shooting being the toughest thing to correct in basketball. It’s a full body movement. When teaching it or correcting mechanics you have to correct everything that the shooter is doing. That shit can be very frustrating lol

At this point we’re not even asking Ben to be a good shooter. We’re just asking him to actually throw the ball at the basketball so that teams will actually think that he’ll shoot.
Once he actually shoots the ball, then we can focus on it actually going in.
You’re right it’s hard to correct but that’s their job. Lonzo worked with a shooting coach in New Orleans and his shot looks better.
There’s basketball trainers whose sole job is to make players better. If a player doesn’t get better shooting jumpers or free throws, it’s the players and their teams fault.

man that shit is hilarious my issue is his free throw shooting. He seems very timid at times to attack the rim because of it. I wouldn't necessarily care about 3point shooting if he turned into a good free throw shooter; but they say they kinda go hand an hand....Actually J Kidd could shoot way better than Simmons. And he would actually attemp to shoot as well. Simmons dont even look to shoot. Its not even close. So to me it isn't a comparison...

About his free throws and jumper. Ben’s right-handed but shoots left-handed, that’s part of the issue. That’s why his shoots look awkward.

It's a pretty valid comparison actually...
I never said anything about the want to shoot, I simply said that one of the easiest things to improve upon in the game was shooting. I used Kidd as an example because he wasn't known as a good shooter early in his career but towards the tail end of it he could consistently knock down 3s.
Simmons is under 25. In the grand scheme of things his job is essentially to put a ball into a hole. He could lock himself in the gym with people whose only job is to help him accomplish that goal and become better over a summer. It happens all the time.
Rondo did it. Lonzo did it. Kidd did it. The fact that Simmons hasn't done it is a failure on both the part of him and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Again actually its not one of the easiest things. If it was Simmons and others would do it
