Yo Ace if you read my other post I dont need no DAM Gordan......I made the trade...Nene is what my game style needs..not a 6'2 Gordan who is just to streaky with MY STYLE of play... In real life I would have been like:smh::smh:...It's a Game:lol::lol:

That's just the thing here though. It is a game and it is suppoosed to be fun but we are trying to cultivate a feeling of a real league. BTW I believe for next years game alot of people are requesting dynamic franchises with more than one year online. I think its safe to say that if that were the case you probably wouldn't make a trade like that. We don't want these silly type of things to go on. Me Ace and Tip will be looking into this matter for year 2 of obama league. I think there should be a formula such as if the difference is more than 7 or 8 pts stat wise then the trade will be invalidated. Bruce Bowen 79 for Shawn Marion should never fly. And though I don't like ben gordan my self...(streaky bastid) I don't really agree with that trade. Because a real gm would get lambasted for making that move.

I dont really mind a large point difference if we are dealing with low impact players. You can use the apples and oranges logic while dealing with role players.
What I cant understand is dudes trading great players (someone who can single handedly take over a game) for players who are pretty much just on the court to be there.
I wouldn't be so vocal about the trade if it was Sefolosha or Thomas for Nene.

Ace I cannot use Gordan he is too passive....If i would have joined in the beginning before I had the RROD I would have not had made the moves the Original User had...

I also wanted to say that in all the leagues I have been involved with, this by far has been the most fun and rewarding. Only BGOL could produce such a league filled with all these different crazy ass personalities. Even the bitch assness proned spurs. It was fun and as we come to a close I just want to let those of you that will be around for year 2 that it was fun and hopefully some of yall come back.

I agree with that but what I am talking about is points of contention. for instance. Lets take a power forward. The skill sets of the power forward are not the same for lets say a point guard. When I am evaluating a trade the things i look for is the disparity between the points of contention. With a power forward you look for

Rebounding off. def.
Block shots.
Hands.
Stamina
Def awr
off post d
def post d
and i think there are two more but im working off the top of my head.

What I do is compare those stats with the person being traded for. I do a pros cons type of thing where each stat that is higher gets that person one point. If comparing with a person of the same category you get more than 7 points ahead here or there I find that you are not in the same category of player anymore and therefore the trade should be invalidated. Try it on your own and see. There should not be more then a 7 to 8 point difference in the players overall statistical categories. And if there is then it has to be made up with adding another player of similar value, and trading that person up against someone of significantly lower value to balance it out.

like for example

yao for gasol

now you would think yao was better

but not at everything

gasol is a better rebounder yao a better shot blocker
yao is stronger then gasol
gasol better midrange shooter
yao better on the post defender
gasol better on the post offensive moves

so on and so forth really its depends on what your lookin for

in the case for the marion n bruce case

now the vets all kno how to use marion but a beginner using marion is kinda awkward cuz of the way marion shoots

as for bruce will he is a better defender and can shoot the 3

not tryin to justify shyt thats y we will have a trade commission in the next league

im still goin to run shyt but as for the trades n things its goin to have its only seperate dept...

yo i gotta step down from the league, im having some issues on the homefront and i wont have as much free time to play, i wanna give a shout out to syd for running a good show and i wish i could still play but i gotta put my priorities first over all these video games, and also i wanna apologize to tip/jhova for cussin em out the other day, you are class act and i didnt mean to cut you down like that, i wish yall the utmost success in the future

Damn man you were a beast I was lookin forward to playing you again in the playoffs. Take care of ur fam tho man. Nobody should get to play w/ the Celtics now since he has to drop out. Is it possible to push another team in since he can't participate??

I'm in the lobby now tryna play those teams I mentioned earlier. This game is over Celtics vs Lakers it is.
