NBA 2K18 cover star Kyrie Irving was just traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Boston Celtics, but 2K Games has already released the cover of the September game with Irving in his old Cavs uni. Now what?

We are excited to be part of one of the most memorable NBA offseasons in history with Kyrie, our 2K18 cover athlete, and Isaiah, one of the stars of our 2K roster, trading places. This isn't an unprecedented event, a cover athlete being traded – but it's certainly interesting timing with 2K18 being released in less than a month. The good news is that as the most authentic and realistic basketball game on the market, we're used to being nimble and responding to changes in the NBA. Fans should be thrilled to know that we will issue a version of 2K18 featuring Kyrie in a Boston Celtics uniform at a later date.

Does having Barkley by donating a million dollars = sailing a million copies because of Barkley? I don't think it would. Take Two Interactive owns 2K and also happens to own Rockstar games. A million dollars ain't gonna hurt their pockets but I understand their reasoning for not giving in strictly business speaking.

Im like if u gonna do a job do it right or don't do it at all. Don't put out a half ass project and slap a high dollar price tag on it. Id pay $80 bucks plus if the game was all the way right.
They have enough of a squad and budget to go from game 2 game and mo cap players , various true to life animations and stadiums. Yet they won't do it why? Cause folk are happy with a half ass project. Like Rockstar and GTA why not drop a new gta global edition?
