Let me stop you right there. seals do go through some rigorous stuff. I've worked with seals and recon and both of them are pretty tough. However...the physical conditioning and fighting prowess of the average Marine is above all other branches. The Marines that go through extra physical training like mcmap black belts can take down your average seal. Does anyone have a video link to L.I.N.E training or the final blackbelt test?

Hell every superpower has suffered losses in these kind of wars, Soviet Union, France, China all of them have had their best killed against third world or small countries....

But usually as a matter of fact almost 99.9% percent of the time you'll never hear of a successful mission because they would never report it....besides this thread and the general consensus acknowledges they are good not Perfect!

Secondly you ever notice how about 230 years of an independent United states there has never been another Military in conflict or war on our soil....that's because of our Nuclear capability and our:

You are right about this lesson needing to be learned and being taught the hard way to Russia and other "superpowers" thank you for that perspective.

However, there is no way that the U.S. military could be viewed as protecting the freedoms that I enjoy. The U.S. military has as its basic history its use in preventing nations and peoples from pursuing their own path particularly when it contradicts or stands in opposition to allowing the elite ITS RIGHT to pick over the poor and the resources of the earth in its never ending pursuit of wealth and power. And should I become a threat to that pursuit it would not be a Chinese sks that would be placed against my skull but an American made weapon in the hands of my neighbors child who has no more access to the wealth and power of the elite then I do.

SEAL Team SIX is the U.S. Navy's main counterterrorist unit, whose operatives are drawn from the current SEAL ranks. The unit was created as part of the Joint Special Operations Command in 1980. The origin of SIX can be traced to the aftermath of the failed 1980 attempt to rescue American hostages at the Iranian Embassy (Operation Eagle Claw). Oh yeah I'm sure there are black ops squads that exist we haven't heard of. I read a popular mechanics article that the Air Force has a unit more advanced than any of them. You have to be in SPEC OPS FIRST before you join them.

When was this, Seal Team 6 has been disbanded for a long time over 20 years. I still hear people talking about it, but those who know, know thats its been long gone. So where when you in Jabel Ali? Also nobody goes on liberty in Jebel, most people go into Dubai. Jebel is just where the ships pull in there is nothing there.
