No. Sasuke and Naruto are BROS! BFF'S! They have to join forces to fight against the big evil. I think maybe Sasuke dies though at the end. But i don't like looking ahead like that. But still. Shit fuck it i'm happy.
Im glad the story is progressing.... but I am not feeling the way the manga has been going for a while.
As soneone posted earlier. it was all about preparation, thinking, adjusting and being unpredictable that allowed someone to win. Now its crazy power ups and shit.
Also, Naruto isn't even his own character anymore. The depth that characters had is nowhere to be seen now.

The story started to go downhill,when Naruto was trying to retrieve Sasuke,right after Chuunin exam...Even then,the story was good,but somehow,it all became all about Sasuke....
Even though Kishimoto was contradicting himself then,he made the story enjoyable to read...Never in my life,I've seen a writer tell the same shit over and over and over again...
I don't mind flashbacks,but Kishimoto does it way too much...his timing is always bad,when he does them...

This I've got a major problem with, why title the fucking story after the main character then to make the story about Two (2) People? Logic doesn't exist much huh? It's owing to ppl like you that has this story in the shit storm that it is! It was better he had titled the blasted thing 'The Hidden Leaf Legend, Will of Fire' than call it Naruto!
This happened cause the 'writer' decided to have a change of heart after his twin babies were born, my thing is when you fuck up your projection of your story and change pace you're obviously compromising on the style and 'essence' of the tale, after the Pain battle the story was flushed and the validity of the project was brought to naught!

I wonder if Kishimoto wasn't able to handle his success and just wants to end the story on a cliff hanger much like Legend of Main, not tell the proper ending, hype up the work that his brother and him have to release and tell the world 'Hey check out this new Project and I'll promise to finish the other' Cause as an artist I'll try my best not to compromise the integrity of my art. In closing the Fuck Up that the Hermit Sage gave Naruto was epic. The ass wipe still believes that he and Sasuke are friends wait for that back stab to come, mark my words this book has even more folly to give!

The anime was good today...it was about itatchi joining the black ops....next week it will be about the uchila coup...hope it is as good as when they retold rin's death....this filler arch has been good and bad so well see

I dont think Kishimoto is a bad writer. Seriously do you know how long this story has been dope? He had to do something to progress the story!
I dont think the sage is giving them both Rinnegans...come on. I think hes just going to give them more of his sons chakra to furhter increment their original chakra. Either way, shit is getting really real right now. I doubt Sasuke dies. There needs to be someone that Naruto fights after Shippuden.

Naw they both won't have rinnegans, Sasuke will get it and Natuto with get Asuras strength and mana supply powers. Btw y'all don't really expect this series to have a good ending do you? I've been reading it for too long to stop now so I'm going to tough it out but I don't have much hope for the ending

Like I said,earlier the series was good but when Kishimoto and the editors started catering to the Sasuke fans and messing up the momentum of the manga its gotten bad...
I don't see the point of having fight,when all he's going to do is have flashback or move away from the fight....Its going all over the place...
Half of the time,I think,he pull shit out of his ass just to progress the story,because he's running out of ideas...

Comparing Naruto to a ninja that's greater than him that died...
Give Naruto,Sasuke or both a powerup
They fought Kages,S-rank jounin,specialized jounin, and etc and yet only one major side character died and that's Neji...

Ok. Yes. He's writing for people like me. And all the kids who enjoy it. I like the characters. I like the fights. And all of the kids who still come in and buy it like it. I like all the shit. I like the anime too. My 12 yr old boy has been watching it since he was 5-6. My 17 yr old and his friends all watch it, read it. There's new people picking it up everyday too.
I like Bleach too. Same reasons. Maybe you've outgrown this and need to move on?
Just because you like it doesn't mean it's not regarded as bad... Generally people like consistency in the story being told. Naruto series lost that. If you still enjoy it that's awesome! But the consensus is this manga has gone down the shitter.
Sorry if I came across 'rough' before, however, I really hate when an 'author' shows 'brilliance' and then loses his style because he wants to keep his 'book' popular! If that's the case then you shouldn't release the 'art'. I'm glad that you're enjoying the story as well as your family continue to do you!
Heavenly I couldn't have said it better. Kishmoto's story had such brilliance to it, that we all as readers could identify with/have gone thru. The story being set in a parallel Ninja World just made it more exciting, the villains all had such promise that you rooted for them, heck the main hero is someone you wanted to see grow more, even his rivalry against his 'friend' ensured that you 'tuned in' but this bastardization that Kishimoto sub-combed too all for the sake of 'hit points' and further atrocity of sacrificing his main character for a 'filler piece' goes against all 'grades' of good story telling. For me I put in too many years, did too much research on Japanese folk lore to understand where Kishimoto is going, like most I'm committed to seeing it end, as a writer, I'm wondering if he's going a particular path, and so far, it seems so, time will tell, however. End Rant!
I started reading Naruto,in 2006,matter of fact its the first manga I ever read....Its funny,because a friend of mine was trying get me to read it and I would just put it off,but when I came home from Pittsburgh,I start reading it and I thought the story was great...that's when I start watching the anime version,afterwards...
Fast forward 2 years later,the anime was shitty due to the fillers and the manga went downhill after Kishimoto decided to make Naruto have this love fest with Sasuke..
I don't put all the blame on him..
It makes you wonder did he planned his story,because the majority of the time,it looks like he's pulling shit out of his ass....
Atleast we don't have to deal with it,for another year,since the manga will end this year.....

At this weeks Jump Festa convention in Japan, The creator of our beloved Naruto series had shocking news to deliver! Before, we’ve heard that Naruto was nearing it’s climax, but now we have confirmation from Masashi Kishimoto himself that Naruto will indeed be ending in 2014.
This exact quote is: “The Naruto Manga Will end in 2014″. this quote doesn’t leave much room for any possible timeskips or anything that some people are hoping for. There are whispers about a possible side project having to do with Minato but for now those are just rumors!
Kishimoto also goes on to say: “I still don’t know how i’m going to have Madara defeated” and “From the beginning of the series I always thought about Sasuke becoming Hokage”
Stick with the story until the very end! Naruto Shippuden ends next year, let’s enjoy the rest of the ride!

Okay I guess I wasn't too impressed with the manga this week...and it seemed short
Tomorrow in the anime is the uchila coup episode...I have to say I like the back story filler cause it shows how much of an asshole danzo was...and how the 3rd really did try to look at the good in everyone and do the best for the village...I gained more respect for the 3rd after watching these last past episodes
