Around here they just use the term "Detroiters".
I'm the only Detroit native in my office, it amazes me how fast my co-workers who transfer in from around the country pick up on refering to blacks as "Detroiters".

Black man is not God never have nor will ever be. The inner city residents have been talked about so long some kats take beliefs out of context. They want to make themselves feel better. Pookie barely pay childsupport when its' due.
Here in Portland OR., everytime a crime is committed by black folks that gets on the news, they have a clever euphamism to inform the public it was a bunch of nigga's even though we haven't seen real black gangs as a problem in Portland since the late 90's, they will still say "the police said it doesn't appear to be gang related". But they'll never say that even though its mexican or asain gangs and we have a lot of those around.

minority - this one has double-edged sword...because when they are referrin' to us in a negative way...we are the "minorities"...as in inferior..or weak...but when some government benefits are about to be handed down to "minorities"...all of sudden...everybody wants to be a minority...including white women...even white men will claim 1/32nd Cherokee on their mother's side for some free government benefits...that were supposed to be set aside for someone else...
