When a car insurance companies charge you a higher rate because you live in an "urban" zip code, it means that peoples' prejudices left un-checked has now become policy.
Same with rental apartments, bank loans etc......
With the "oh if they don't like me oh well" attitude it shows a lack of understanding on how systematic discriminatory practices are changed.

Not running from the question at all.. just trying to get you to do some "investigating" on your own. A scientist named Gregor Mendel did a study with the pea plant in which he discovered dominant and recessive genes. From that, it has been proven that "black" genes are dominant and white genes are recessive. You can get the recessive from the dominant, but not vice versa. So, brown eyes are dominant, light eyes (blue, green) are recessive. All people come from Black people.. we are the mothers/fathers of the the human race..all the nations of the world come from us....
This information is taught in the most basic of biology classes...

I'm going to catch alot of flack behind this. I'm prepared, so I accept all statements as they come. I think its everyones God given right to beleive what they want, so your opinions are appreciated no matter how much I may disagree, so here goes. I'm sick of the whole "woe is me" mentality! I cant stand, hearing the constant complaining about what we as Black, AfricanAmericans, arent getting from "witey". I see wwwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy tooooooooo many people sitting on their colective asses, not going to work, not going to school, not taking care of their kids, and asking for something. And yeah, I know we havent had a fair shot at this from jump. and yeah, I know that it may never be fair. But all I see is people complaining, laying down, and crying about the shit they dont have. I know people that dont even get up anymore, they just sit around and do nothing all day. Meanwhile, I get up, take care of my family and do what I'm supposed to do, and my people are sitting here with their hands out waiting for "whitey", or ME to "give them something"?????? I work hard enough for myself, and any able bodied person, black white or otherwise that doesnt get up and do the same isnt worth the effort. yeah, white people on welfare, they make up at least half, but "my" people are the only ones that think they "deserve" to be taken care of.

Brother, don't take what you see around you as the gospel of black peoples' condition in America.
Black people are very diverse.
What you may be seeing is symptoms of the lower socio-economic people that make up this country.
Go to the low income white neighborhoods and you will see they have the same mentality.
The mentality stems from being and experiencing the problems of the lower economic strata.
It so happens that the black people you are exposed to are in that economic class.
There is a difference between causation and correlation.
The mentality you talk about is not caused by being black.
