i got this one for christmas. it is great and very easy to use. i have it set up so far to control my xbox, sony bravia, at&t uverse cable box and samsung surround sound. it doesn't control a ps3 off top though, you gotta buy an attachment for that. so far im loving this remote though

Any and everything that can be controlled by a remote it can handle...expect PS3's It controls my ceiling fans

The ps3 buttons even show up on the remote once I select that device

Did you have trouble programming ya tv's with the correct input delay speed and power on speed using the remote? Im still learning to use mines and i checked the forums and they all me in order to get ya shit working right you have to adjust those speeds properly but this is like a guessing game to find out which speed you should set it too.. I'll select an activity and sometimes it stops one short of the correct hdmi input that shit pisses me off..

Is there someway to find out ya tv speeds? Or a list or some shit?

I just copped that. Thanks 1000000, man. The Harmony One was like $169 at Best Buy, and I got the damned near top of the line for $31 more! My joint is about to be off the chain! I got a hellafyed system for less than the market price is. Amazon had this for $265, and I have seen it for as low as that price and as high as $415

Alright. I got the remote and it is a beautiful thing let me tell you. I got a question, though. When it is in Satillite/DirecTv mode I'd like to program the forward and back buttons as the arrows with the OK in the middle for my DVR. I rewind and fast forward a lot, and can I also program my 30 second skip another button as well?

You can do anything with these remotes....

You are going to do it from an Activity...correct?..such as 'Watch TV',or 'Watch DVR'??

Simply go to customize buttons...

Like mine for instance...when I do 'Listen to music'....I have the channel buttons going to the next or last cut on the CD,while the volume controls sound from my processor.
And I made touch screen buttons for iPod input...and so on.

Is that what you mean??

This mofo is going to take a LOT of getting used to. I'm all muscle memory with my DirecTv remote especially. Sometimes when I want to see the bottom of the screen after fast forwarding and I want to exit, now the exit isn't on the same page as the FF button and the play button isn't there on the same page as the FF so that when I FF thru commercials and I go to far I can push play to stop FF'ing.

My wife tripped when she found out how much it was, but I'd already bought it. How the fuck did you teach it to turn on your fireplace? Also, I haven't really figured it out, I just wanted to use it since last night it had to charge and I fell asleep before I could use it (sucks when you have a toy you just got and you can't play with it that first day.

You teach it new commands by 'mating' it with your old remote....

I don't know if I can explain it simply,but it is very easy.

Read the directions,and when you are hooked up you to the computer,it will walk you thru the process.

It will give you the option,to learn IR...I believe it's called my new command,you will name it,then mate the remotes...and place the new command where ever you like.
