for those not knowing, a FUTURE book bet is a bet on the FINAL outcome of the season before the season starts. some places will let you wager on the conference winners, but most places take action on who will win the super bowl.
i don't like betting on the favorites, because the prices are short (the betting odds are small) and frankly, that's boring.
last year, for example, the ravens and dolphins were a couple of my long shot wagers.
this year, i got:
the rams @ 35:1
the 49ers @ 25:1
the browns @ 80:1
they had the falcons going @ 85:1 but i couldn't get with that
