Shit happens.....anyway, it's not like they were gonna continue being as creative, innovative and on point in infinitum......so let's take what they gave us and thanks for the memories...

Y'all ain't lying about the impact of Tribe. I mean i loved hip-hip before Tribe and missed out when People's Instinctive hit the stands...but when Low End Theory came out, it was like I woke UP to hip-hop anew. I mean other than Public Enemy, NO music had ever hit me with that kind of persuasive force. And Tribe was just the TIP (no pun intended). All of a sudden, I started paying attention to L.O.N.S., De La, Black Sheep, Jungle Bros....anybody who ever said they were down with Tribe was on rotation in my tape deck.

This documentary is a must see.

G.O.A.T. In No order:
Tribe. Wu. Public Enemy. Roots. Fugees. Dungeon Fam.

I spoke to Kamal recently and that is exactly why he is mad. They were trying to shit on ATCQ with out them knowing, but KAMAL, ALI, AND JAROBE caught on to it. PHIFE didnt and still dont.

Love Them dudes to death, but Tip is really on some ho shit right now. He's a reasonable man, eventually he'll get over it on his own time.

They made some incredible shit, and his last album was aces as well.


He's producing Esperanza Spauldings next joint as well, that's ecxciting.

Don't take that MTV interview lightly...I applaud them for taking a stance...I deal with folks trying to use my company's IP as their own...And most times borrowing from the biggie metaphor "it's the one's that smoke blunts which ya...see ya picture..."

I didn't get into A Tribe Called Quest much while they were active. All I knew was I left my wallet at Nelson gundo. Talk to text, I said I left my wallet in El Segundo. Thank you

Anyway, after I got Spotify I Put A Tribe Called Quest in my favorites and was surprised at not only how many songs I knew but didn't know I knew, and also how many songs I liked.
